Madonna Gets Sticky and Sweet

We revealed sketches of Madonna's Sticky and Sweet tour costumes, and now that the tour is underway, let's see them come to life. The list of designers who worked on the singer's wardrobe and accessories includes Givenchy's Riccardo Tisci, Tom Ford, Miu Miu, Stella McCartney, Moschino, Roberto Cavalli, Jeremy Scott, and Yves Saint Laurent. Whew! I'll let you judge their creations for yourself, but it's important to note that the color palette is mainly black with spritzes of color. Expect lots of leather, sky-high boots, and booty-revealing cuts. Madge wouldn't have it any other way.

Madonna's Tour Is Sticky and Sweaty

Madonna, no stranger to sweating, has brought her high-fitness level to the stage of her tour Sticky and Sweet.

I have not seen the show myself, but it's pretty clear from the pictures that all her hard work at her gym is paying off. Madonna has a bit of pole dancing, jump roping, deep squats, and more during the show, all while she's singing, too - talk about the ultimate talk test. And you can bet this 50-year-old rock star is not letting a little world tour get in the way of staying healthy, People reports that:

"The harder Madonna works the happier she is," says Rosenberg, a longtime friend. "Because she was a dancer, that's why. It's practice, practice, practice."

On her opening night in Cardiff, Wales, "She had a massage and a facial – things are very quiet," says the rep.

Before each show, she spends an hour in hair and makeup then performs some vocal exercises. Next, she warms up with some form of exercise, "probably some free weights."

I've always been impressed with her dedication to fitness, but when she is on tour I am reminded of how fit she really is - not many women half her age could keep up with her on and off stage. Cheers Madonna, and happy touring.

What Jesus and Coconuts Have in Common

A certain hot model isn't the only thing Madonna is loving from Brazil. The pop star also has a thing for coconut water and is putting her money where her mouth is. Madonna - along with celebs Demi Moore and Matthew McConaughey - is investing in Vita Coco, the best selling (and my favorite!) coconut water in the country. Madonna is reported to have drunk fresh coconut water every day during her Sticky & Sweet tour last year. In total, Madonna put $1.5 million toward the brand, which is the largest amount in the celebrity investor pool.

Since most brands pay for this kind of celeb power, it's nice to see them back a brand they believe in. Given Madonna's penchant for all things fitness and health, it totally makes sense that she's loving this stuff. If you remember, coconut water was my saving grace during a recent bout of food poisoning. Since then, it's become the way I hydrate before yoga and after my workouts. It's also the beverage my friend stocked her fridge with on New Year's Eve to prepare for her upcoming hangover the next day. Believe the hype, this stuff works!
