The weather is still warm and I love it. Last week I attended a hotel rooftop pool party with a bunch of friends. I'm sure I'll cherish the memory come next season's gusty winds. Lots of splashing, drinking, munching, and some dancing were involved. Who was up for the challenge of dressing me? Fab Finding Follow-Up: Beach Boardwalk, in the Warm California Sun

Last weekend I headed to Santa Cruz with the fam. We enjoyed the sun and roller coasters at the Beach Boardwalk, followed by a nice dinner. I was pretty worn out by dinnertime, but lucky for me, I had your help. I asked you to find a look that would do double duty from a day at the beach to a night on the town.

With the weekend on our heels, let's keep our off-duty styling game in primed condition. Case in point: this Fab reader CBladyàlamode provided a Spring fresh take on the jeans-and-a-striped tee combo. She topped her nautical-inspired button-front T-shirt with a cuffed denim jacket, then paired it with rolled-up black jeans, evoking an effortlessly Parisian chic vibe. The annual Bonnaroo music festival is right around the corner, taking place on June 9-12 in Manchester, Tennessee. And the lineup is stellar-some of our favorite acts include School of Seven Bells, Ratatat, Lil Wayne, Sleigh Bells and Best Coast. So if you're going, you'll need to master that really dressed-down, but-still-look-cute look. Of course you want to look festive for the festival, BUT I recommend avoiding these extremes: all-out grungy hippie, or wearing an outfit that is the sartorial equivalent of a sign on your head that says, "I'm a hipster." Think of this as Coachella-lite, in terms of taking the fashion down a notch. Check it:

Grab a hat and some fancy sunblock. Lucky beauty editor (and my roomie) Simone Kitchens won't let me leave home without them-thanks, Mom! Go with a Stevie Nicks-ish floppy because it provides the most shade (side note: I've implemented a ban on the fedora).

Beyoncé Keeps a Lid on It as Her Latest Single Touches Down

Beyoncé Knowles landed at the airport in Nice yesterday in a white blazer, shades, and a chic straw hat. The singer, who was accompanied by a bodyguard, is looking forward to the release of her album 4 on June 28. The title track, which features Kanye West and Andre 3000, hit the Web last week, hot on the heels of her new video for "Run the World (Girls)." B has been promoting the upcoming CD since May, taking the stage at the finale of American Idol, and rocking the Billboard Music Awards. This was Beyoncé's latest trip to France after she and her husband, Jay-Z, spent a romantic week in Paris during April to mark their anniversary and hang out with their adorable nephew. In a few more weekends, Beyoncé is set to perform elsewhere in Europe at Glastonbury in England. Beyoncé is on the cover of Dazed and Confused magazine's July issue, and told the magazine she's now focused on taking risks and pushing her boundaries but is nonetheless nervous for the live show.

Fab Style Challenge Winner Is . . . Rochasfille!

This week's challenge was to take a daytime-cool beach look and elevate it to the perfect evening ensemble, with just a few simple switches. This look from Rochasfille totally fit the bill - she started with a super-chic, full-length black jersey jumpsuit, threw in a beach-friendly straw hat and cork sandals, then took it to new heights for sundown by switching out the heels, adding an oversize clutch, and layering up with a slouchy sweater. Great transitional look!
