Who Wore It Better? Christian Louboutin Studded Booties

It was only a matter of time until one of the Olsens got their hands, or feet, on Christian Louboutin's Studded Booties. Actually, both of them have a pair, but I digress. Pussycat Dolls lead singer Nicole Scherzinger wore them at TRL first and now Ashley visited Harvey Nichols department store in them after attending the launch of their new collection for "The Row." Nicole wore them first, but I have to give it up to my girl Ashley for making the boots the focus of her ensemble by keeping the rest simple. Who do you think wore it better?

Pussycat Dolls cutie Melody Thornton made a solo appearance on the red carpet tonight looking on-trend in an embellished cream long sleeve minidress and studded booties. Check out the decadent silver and gold detailing on her frock - so rad. For jewels, the songstress decked herself out in diamond studs and mixed metal rings. Are you liking her look?

There are many reasons why I'm smitten with Sienna Miller's Isabel Marant Fall 'fit.. Her ruched print dress is ultra rad and I can't take my eyes off those studded booties - hotness. Take note of the artistic graduated cone heel. This frame takes on a more triangular shape compared to regular cone heels. Less cylindrical, more severe, and way more sexy. I like it.

Check it: studded boots aren't just for the rough and tough biker babes. Today, any girl with a little bit of funk in her can sport these badass, embellished boots. Notice how Sienna Miller, English model Sarah Harding, and Megan Fox wore studded boots in very different ways. Sienna looked like a bohemian girl in a slouchy, suede pair by Vivienne Westwood; Sarah took the rocker route - with her utterly adorable Frenchie - in a hard-hitting strappy pair; while Megan stayed California cool and paired her slick, knee-high boots with jeans and a bright cardi.

Sam Edelman Strapped Bootie: Love It or Hate It?

These Sam Edelman Strapped Booties, $170, definitely rival the footwear of the Olsens, right? Although I don't think anyone except for Ashley, Mary-Kate and models can pull them off, I still think they rock! I love the Cuban heel, the quilted detailing and the badass leather straps. Very avant-garde. Thoughts?

Showing off her posing prowess, the model donned an assortment of scintillating dark separates comprised of sleek bodysuits, fur coats, LBDs, and bustiers. The selection of animal print buckled booties, suede wedges, and towering heels are downright savage. How hot is her blond blowout and smoky eye makeup? Peep the accessories; fishnet tights add a sexy touch, while studded chunky metal bangles and studded necklaces inject a don't-mess-with-me attitude.

Urban Outfitters is the gift that keeps on giving. First it brought us its snazzy early Fall look book and now is delivering even fresher merchandise for Fall '09. Shall we dive in? This bunch is filled with girlie florals, cropped jackets, studded booties, understated bags, flannel, ripped jeans, and so much more. One of my favorite looks is this print dress with a vest and black hat. It's part folk, part boho, part rock 'n' roll. This colorblock backpack is pretty rad, too.

Fab Ad: Isabel Marant, Fall '09

I admit, I'm a bit disappointed with Isabel Marant's Fall campaign. For some reason, the designer swapped out the awesome Daria Werbowy for the newly married Milla Jovovich. The ad, shot by Inez and Vinoodh, pictures Milla - in the same exact pose - wearing Marant's delectable fur chubbies, velvet shorts, soft tees, tiered skirts, and luscious studded booties. Remember when Sienna Miller donned them during her G.I. Joe circuit? I love the clothes, but the ad doesn't do them justice. Call me crazy but there was something about Daria that embodied Marant's fun fashion, and Milla just leaves me kinda bored. Thoughts?
