Those of us who can't stop into London's Junky Styling boutique should try the next best thing: the new book, Junky Styling: Wardrobe Surgery ($32), by founders Annika Sanders and Kerry Seager. First read about the store's unique history and its forward-thinking founders — Annika and Kerry started out making clothes to wear to clubs in the early '90s. Then learn how to re-create some of their popular garments: a shirt wrap halter top, a scarf made from suit sleeves, and so on.

The 2009 Glamour Women of the Year awards in NYC celebrated the industry's most powerful women. Rihanna went for high drama, but Stella McCartney played it nonchalantly cool. The designer walked the red carpet in a look from her Resort line: a purple silk frock, a cropped black collarless jacket, and black pumps.
Style Wins at Hollywood Life's 6th Annual Style Awards
Last night's Hollywood Life 6th Annual Style Awards brought out a gaggle of fashionably dressed stars. Lauren Conrad, Amber Valletta, Sophia Bush, and Selena Gomez were just some of the Fab attendees. There was a lot of black on the red carpet, but Lauren brightened things up in her floral Mara Hoffman frock.

Halle Berry joined Nicole Richie at the March of Dimes annual Celebration of Babies event in LA over the weekend. While Nicole opted for a boho maxi, Halle looked sexy sleek in a navy blue Yigal Azrouel number and smokey suede pumps. I love the way the dress melts over her curves and shows just enough cleavage.
