Here is my ode to The Great Gatsby. Fashion is experiencing a throwback to the times of art deco, pleats, beading, speak-easies, and the Belle Epoque. Legendary designer Paul Poiret has been referenced and you can see his dropped hemline and flapper hats in a major way in the Proenza Schouler Fall 2007 collection. After all the 70s and 80s we've been seeing on the runway these seem fresh and a step in a new fashion direction - just don't take away my booze!

Britney Spears turns 30 today, and to celebrate the pop princess's birthday, we're taking a look back at her starring role in her first feature film, Crossroads. Watch as Lucy (Spears) takes center stage at a club backed up by her two BFFs Kit (Zoe Saldana) and Mimi (Taryn Manning) to sing Joan Jett's "I love Rock 'N Roll." Though she's a little uncertain of herself to begin with, it's not long before she's racking up the tips and confidently asking us to put another dime in the jukebox.

Vanessa and Shenae Fit Bikini Time Into Their Tropical Getaway

Vanessa Hudgens and Shenae Grimes got in on the bikini action while in Hawaii over the weekend for the opening on Waikiki's new Edition hotel. Whitney Port led the two-piece parade during her marathon PDA session with boyfriend Ben Nemtin, but Shenae was all about bonding with friends on Saturday as she took self-portraits and hung out with Taryn Manning. Vanessa skipped out on another afternoon of poolside lounging and instead opted to try surfing yesterday. She's familiar with the sport after watching Zac Efron give it a go in Australia, though he wasn't on hand to offer constructive criticism as Vanessa braved the waves.
