The PopSugar/Tech Crunch party has come and gone (tear). But what a way to kick off Spring! The party (last Thursday night) was a hit and most of us have finally recovered. Some of the Sugar girls were lucky enough to go down to LA and represent in style. I rounded up a good amount of the girls (and guy) for some Look Booking fun. I thought it would be even more fun for you to try to guess who the Sugar girls are. To be fair, I have dropped hints in the slides and here's who is pictured: PartySugar, Bella, Citizen, Pet, Team, Buzz, Geek, and of course, Pop. Happy guessing and doesn't everyone look Fab?!

Man Who Lost $15 Million Gives Advice on What Not to Do With a Windfall

Investor James Altucher lost $15 million in 2000, a time in which he says he lost his family, his house, his health, and his "fake friends." In a recent editorial on TechCrunch, Altucher gives advice to the soon-to-be Facebook millionaires on what to do when they come into their riches. Here are some of his recommendations:

Don't change your lifestyle for one year.
Don't invest yet. Save your money in a savings account or under your mattress and give it some time to mull over.
If you want to invest, don't invest more than two percent.
Focus on your health.

I think his advice was all very sound, especially his recommendation on not changing your lifestyle for a year. Coming into a lot of money can turn a person into a less careful spender and you may end up spending more than you are financially able to. It's better to take the time to adjust to your situation, and spend your money wisely with a clear mind and objective.

How Social Media Can Help You Score That Dream Job

When you think you've exhausted all your job options, the worst thing to do is to wait it out. There are always ways to get to where you want to be, and you just need to think outside of the box. Even just a single tweet might be the trick you need to get the job of your dreams.

Companies are now interested in more than just your résumé. They are also sizing up your LinkedIn accounts, video profiles, and presence on other social-media platforms. In fact, there are plenty of people who have successfully tried social-media-savvy ways to get a job when the traditional route has failed. One example is Matthew Epstein, a job hunter who invested $3,000 in a flashy website and video to capture the attention of Google. Through his campaign (that went viral), he managed to score interviews with Google, Amazon, and Microsoft, as well as capture the media attention of CNN and TechCrunch. He did, in the end, land a job of his dreams, although it wasn't a Google job. Hanna Phan, a freelance presentation consultant, is another person who got a job through social-media efforts - she created a 90-second slideshow with SlideRocket and tweeted it to the firm's CEO. The head of the company was impressed, and she received a job offer.

If you want social media to be part of your job-hunting arsenal, keep these tips in mind:

Don't be the jack of all trades: Don't spread yourself too thin and try to hop onto every social-media bandwagon. Instead, channel your energy toward three or four platforms and try to develop them as best you can. Choose from accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Tumblr, and YouTube, to name a few.
Be creative: A ton of people are on Twitter and Facebook, so you need to think of ways to separate yourself from the others. You can brainstorm unique angles and ideas with friends and look at past examples of what people have done. Perhaps you can come up with a YouTube video or a Tumblr blog that will go viral and capture people's attention. Think of current events and how you can capitalize on them.
Don't be a pest: Finally, you need to be cautious of bugging people on the web. Be smart about how you reach out to people, and don't keep bothering them if you don't hear a response.

Facebook Adding Photo Sharing to App: Features You Should Know About

TechCrunch is reporting that there will soon be a new Facebook photo sharing feature that will combine some of the best photo apps out there today; mainly Instagram, Color, and Path, with a heaping layer of Facebook to pull it all together. The app, which was rumored to be in development for quite some time and will live inside the Facebook iPhone app, will basically give you a lot more photo features to play around with inside the app you already know. So what's new? Learn about some of the rumored features below!

Multiple photo capabilities - You'll be able to capture multiple photos at a time and upload them at once to your Facebook profile.
Geo-Tagging - You can add your location and events to photos, tag the friends you're with, and even see photos from other people in the same location, a la Color.
Add captions - As always, you'll be able to add captions to your pics, or sets of pics that you can upload as an album.
Likes and comments - You'll still be able to see all of the likes and comments your photos or sets will get, but the look will be more streamlined.
Filters - There is a section marked "Filters" in the leaked images, but no word on what kinds of filters will be added. This will be a big draw for mobile photo nerds who are addicted to using apps like Instagram and Hipstamatic.
