Most of you didn't approve of Maria Sharapova's one-sleeve Lanvin dress, but I think you'll like this mandarin-tiered Stella McCartney number she wore to a recent event. It reveals her gorgeous legs but in a tasteful manner. I like how instead of wearing peep-toe pumps, like many celebs do on the red carpet, she chose unexpected black patent oxford pumps. A textured minaudiere and gold jewels finish off the look perfectly.

The Look For Less: Diane Kruger

It's been while since I featured Fab favorite Diane, so I needed my fix - you don't mind do you?

At the Tod's Fall shopping party in the Hamptons, Diane looked Summer stylish in a Derek Lam black tiered dress, a carefree headband, and a Tod's python clutch. Iced tea in hand, Diane looked the best at the event, but you don't even want to know how much her Lam dress was. And no need, I found a cheaper alternative with just the same amount of hippie chic and some equally fun accessories. We love you Diane!

Ruffle me this, ruffle me that. You all went gaga over the frills of Spring last week so I thought we could fast forward this trend. Lately, I've been swayed by tiered ruffles. The master of ruffles, Valentino, shows how it's done (pictured). Who can forget Sarah Michelle Gellar's bubbly champagne look in vintage Chloe? Ruffle in the Winter, ruffle in the Summer, ruffle me all over.

But how do you feel about Tinsley Mortimer in the same fetching frock? She was spotted on location for Gossip Girl in Long Island wearing the ivory version accessorizing with silver heels and a matching clutch. 2010 Spring New York Fashion Week: Proenza Schouler

A self-proclaimed mermaid, I drowned in Proenza Schouler's aquatic chic Spring collection. It wasn't evident right away - leather and bondage shirt dresses and jackets opened. And then, like a flurry of fish, tiered and ruffled frocks in teals, turquoise, and acid green stole the scene. Seaweed sequins in purple and emerald, and even some feathers, trimmed asymmetrical hems. Then the prints - tie dye, stone wash, water ripples, mana ray - on frilly skirts and perfect shifts. Dramatic wedges were scuba fantastic, sunnies were bold and reflective, bags were eclectic. The babydoll was reinvented in a strappy, sassy bralette style. Washed up, sometimes green, beachy hair, completed the marine melody. Lastly, three Traina's were in attendance - longtime PS supporters. Soak, it, up.

Lauren Conrad and her The Hills posse attended PaleyFest09, all of them looking red-carpet ready. But Lauren, who is in the process of designing a line for Kohl's, stood out by far in her citrus tiered-ruffled Phillip Lim dress. Though the dress doesn't include a belt, I'm glad Lauren cinched it with a tan one because it prevented yellow overkill. Her tan Miu Miu platform sandals match her tan perfectly, and her delicate gold jewels add just enough shine.

Who Wore It Better? Phillip Lim Navy Ruffle Dress

Many of you adored the Phillip Lim navy ruffle dress Lindsay Price wore recently, and for good reason. The folded, tiered ruffles, the poofy shoulders - they're beyond charming. Apparently, model Liya Kebede loved it as much as we did, because she wore it out on a cold night in NYC. These ladies are wearing the same dress in the most opposite ways. Lindsay is party-ready in red suede Mary Janes and red lips. Liya, not so much. She's bundled to the max with black tights, black boots, and a black coat. Whose look are you digging more - Lindsay's playful version or Liya's moody take?
