Most of you didn't approve of Maria Sharapova's one-sleeve Lanvin dress, but I think you'll like this mandarin-tiered Stella McCartney number she wore to a recent event. It reveals her gorgeous legs but in a tasteful manner. I like how instead of wearing peep-toe pumps, like many celebs do on the red carpet, she chose unexpected black patent oxford pumps. A textured minaudiere and gold jewels finish off the look perfectly.

The Look For Less: Diane Kruger

It's been while since I featured Fab favorite Diane, so I needed my fix - you don't mind do you?

At the Tod's Fall shopping party in the Hamptons, Diane looked Summer stylish in a Derek Lam black tiered dress, a carefree headband, and a Tod's python clutch. Iced tea in hand, Diane looked the best at the event, but you don't even want to know how much her Lam dress was. And no need, I found a cheaper alternative with just the same amount of hippie chic and some equally fun accessories. We love you Diane!

Trend Alert: Tiered Ruffles

Ruffle me this, ruffle me that. You all went gaga over the frills of Spring last week so I thought we could fast forward this trend. Lately, I've been swayed by tiered ruffles. The master of ruffles, Valentino, shows how it's done (pictured). Who can forget Sarah Michelle Gellar's bubbly champagne look in vintage Chloe? Ruffle in the Winter, ruffle in the Summer, ruffle me all over.

SAG Awards: Regina King

Regina King hit the SAG Awards in a strapless Alberta Ferretti purple gown embellished with frothy tiered ruffles. The color contrasts perfectly against her skin tone, and we love how she accessorized with luxe gold earrings and a matching clutch. Glee's Dianna Agron donned a fiery red Giles Deacon gown, and upon closer review, we spotted laser-cut swan cutouts along the bodice and the ruffled tiers of the floor-length skirt. To accompany this red-hot number, Dianna wore a solitaire diamond bracelet and diamond stud earrings. Erin Fetherston's Spring 2012 brought the designer's flair for femininity in a bright, citrus-splashed return to the '60s. The presentation at Milk Studios on Saturday popped with bright lights and bold color - models poised perfectly in sky-high platforms, with bold smoky eyes, and perfect pink pouts to echo the nod to the swinging '60s sweetness. Fetherston played in a bold palette, fashioning up standout mod minis in white, black, and tangerine colorblocking and orange ruffled tiers, then showing a splash of girlie prints. First, pink butterflies on slim white pants, then softer butterflies in purple and black on a flowy maxi dress. To complement the super girlie, Fetherston gave separates in soft, sheer white button-downs and printed and solid shorts and pants for a presentation that's as sweet as it is smart.

Trends: Sheath dresses, '60s mod, colorblocking, sequins, and polka-dots.

Colors: Lemon, tangerine, black, white, purple and pink butterfly prints.

Key Look: The tangerine ruffle-tiered mod sheath dress; sharp retro-inspired suit with cropped jacket and slim black pants.

New York Fashion Week Looks Your Lil Girl Can Wear Now!

New York Fashion Week is over, and while we saw an amazingly eclectic mix of upcoming trends for this Fall, there were some seasonal mainstays that will continue to be popular. Lace, fur, and shearling were featured prominently, so if you want to get your lil girl ready for back-to-school trends (or just get a jump on the trends this Winter), stock up on some of these cute - and on sale - clothes now!

Honeysuckle is the color of the year for 2011, and pink pants like the Ralph Lauren Blakely Skinny Corduroys ($25) will still be a hit for Fall. The 77kids by American Eagle Watercolor Ruffle Dress ($35) makes a similar tiered statement as that seen on the runways at New York Fashion Week. A faux fur jacket like this one from Gymboree ($26) will keep babe on-trend and warm. Gap's Lace Tier Dress ($27) is similar to Marchesa's Victorian-inspired Fall collection, and is season-ready by just adding a pair of your lil one's favorite tights.
