Am I looking at a dress or a piñata? No disrespect to Manoush because I normally like her designs, but this Manoush Multicolored Tiered Dress ($480) should have never left the showroom. That amount of tiers wouldn't even look good on a stick-skinny model.

Luella's fun, floral frocks have been making their rounds but I'm most smitten with the tiered floral mini skirt that bug-eyed model Masha Tylena wore at the Spring '08 show. The designer has proven that little girls aren't the only ones who can pull off this style. Now if only she could have made it more affordable .

Ruffles are one of the easiest ways to exude femininity. And this Satin Silk 3-Tier Mini Dress sure has some mega ruffles going on! What sold me on this dress is the royal blue hue, which takes it from potentially prissy to amazingly rockin'!

Ruffle me this, ruffle me that. You all went gaga over the frills of Spring last week so I thought we could fast forward this trend. Lately, I've been swayed by tiered ruffles.

We all loved how Famke Janssen styled her black and pink silk Thread Social dress with a studded clutch and black heels to the premiere of her latest movie Turn the River. But how do you feel about Tinsley Mortimer in the same fetching frock? She was spotted on location for Gossip Girl in Long Island wearing the ivory version accessorizing with silver heels and a matching clutch.

It looks like the v-neck tiered trapeze dress is starting to be a big trend for the Summer. Sarah Michelle Gellar has already been spotted prancing around NYC in a similar Tart version, and even Juicy Couture has come out with one. This Ella Moss Cheryl Dress, $163, or a similar version, should be on your must-have list.

Most of you didn't approve of Maria Sharapova's one-sleeve Lanvin dress, but I think you'll like this mandarin-tiered Stella McCartney number she wore to a recent event. It reveals her gorgeous legs but in a tasteful manner. I like how instead of wearing peep-toe pumps, like many celebs do on the red carpet, she chose unexpected black patent oxford pumps.

It's been while since I featured Fab favorite Diane, so I needed my fix — you don't mind do you?
At the Tod's Fall shopping party in the Hamptons, Diane looked Summer stylish in a Derek Lam black tiered dress, a carefree headband, and a Tod's python clutch. Iced tea in hand, Diane looked the best at the event, but you don't even want to know how much her Lam dress was.

John Galliano started his Christian Dior Spring '10 show with a literal bang as gunshots and theatrical screaming laid out the framework for his film noir-inspired collection. Set against a gritty, warehouse scene, models with wavy tresses and red lips strutted down the runway in an array of sensual, lingerie-like silk gowns, camisoles, peek-a-boo lace dresses, silk shorts, and and beaded gowns. His ode to '40s Hollywood glamour continued with sharply tailored trench coats — a staple then, a staple today — tiered skirts, corsets, and I even spied a couple of ankle socks paired with sky-high sandals.

Cannes is slowly but surely gaining more star power. Here's Hilary Swank at the premiere of Looking For Eric — though in that glamorous gunmetal gown, everyone's going to be looking for her! There's lots going on with the dress — sheen, tiers, asymmetrical hem — but Cannes is the place to pull out all the stops.
