Fab Finding Followup: Pool Par-tay

Splish splash - I attended a super-fun pool party last weekend. Finding a splashy outfit is simple but the twist(er) was my parents were also in attendance. That's why I needed you to help me find a cute ensemble that wouldn't offend the elders. Don't get me wrong, the 'rents are cool, but there was no need to have my goodies hanging out amongst friends and fams. I started you off with this rad Free People Tie-Dye Beach Tote ($98); I adore the wavy print and extra-large shape.

It may be poking fun at the fact that exorbitantly expensive It bags are over, but this Longchamp "It Bag" Vertical Tote ($340) has stolen my heart. Could it be because it has French writing on it? Maybe. But mostly it's because it talks cheeky and looks chic without costing a fortune. Plus, it's canvas, thus super relevant to the times. I could see this bag meshing at the supermarket as well as at trendy soirees.

To help point me in the right direction, a friend suggested I attend a personal finance seminar. I'll be amongst suits, ties, and chinos, so I need you to help me find a sharp ensemble - nothing boring, please.

While everyone was consumed by their never-ending drama during last night's episode of Gossip Girl, Jenny Humphrey was busy working. The girl was literally up in arms with her fashion internship.

Fab Flash: Rihanna Launches Second Umbrella Collection

Rihanna is hitting up New York Fashion Week for at least one event: the launch of her second umbrella collection with Totes. On Feb. 5, the singer is hosting a luncheon as a follow-up to her original umbrella collection!

Rihanna Umbrellas are set to retail exclusively at Macy's this Spring, with prices ranging for $20 for a single-colored umbrella to $50 for a two-toned canopy style.

If you recognize those lyrics from Rihanna's latest hit, "Umbrella," then it'll make sense why the singer has come out with her own line of umbrellas for Totes. There's nothing fancy-schmancy about Rihanna's umbrellas, but they get the job done. (If you want fancy, check this umbrella out!)

One in particular, the Fashion Folding Auto Open Umbrella, $16, is perfect for girly-girls who love ruffles. It has even caught the latest fuchsia bug, as the ruffle comes in pink!

Simply Fab: Karl and Marc Canvas Totes

The canvas tote continues to evolve. It took off with Anya Hindmarch's I'm Not a Plastic Bag - remember the frenzy? - and has since taken all sorts of designs and personalities. The latest, and arguably coolest, are these Pattern People Karl and Marc Canvas Totes ($45 each). I mean walking alongside the real Karl and Marc would be way more entertaining, but their cartoon versions are second best. I'm all team Karl; Imagine walking into a supermarket with the Kaiser by your side.
