Clean Up With Trina Turk For Alice Supply Co.

Übercute cleaning tool company Alice Supply Co. has just launched an exclusive line of housewares and tools featuring the distinctive designs of Palm Beach-style purveyor Trina Turk! Today through Monday, Aug. 29, the collection is on sale at Design/Story (sign up to shop if you're not a member) and includes a tape measure, dust brush, scissors, hose, ping-pong paddle, dust pan, and tool box, ranging from $8 to $65 (down from $10 to $82). The groovy prints include an abstract blue and green pattern and a mod orange and yellow link/trellis design.

If I had a ping-pong table, I'd be all about that cheerful paddle; I bet Jonathan Adler would love to have those for his own paisley ping-pong table. Anything but the garden hose would make a lovely addition to my own city apartment. That said, I think Alice Supply Co.'s own cheerful designs are equally chic and as adorable as Trina Turk's!

Whenever I visit friends in Austin, I try to drop by Adelante, a hip, laid-back women's clothing and lifestyle boutique. The shop, which has been in Austin since 1992, and called San Antonio home before that, is a family-owned boutique that offers everything from shoes, dresses, and jewelry to home accessories and vintage, refurbished furniture.

The owner, Tricia Roberts, has a great eye for fashionable, affordable finds, and I always find some must-have item when I stop by.

Nice and New: Trina Turk Outdoor Fabrics for Schumacher

Back in October, I let you know about Trina Turk's foray into interiors with a collection of home furnishings and an outdoor upholstery fabric line. Well, her collection of California-inspired indoor/outdoor printed fabrics is here. The line features signature patterns from her apparel collections as well as many inspired by the SoCal architecture, landscape, and lifestyle. Her bright, breezy colorways are ideal for outdoor Summer décor, including watery blues, citrus shades, and earth tones. My favorite is the Fronds Print, which has a leafy, decidedly graphic look.
