I guess I'm feeling stripey after yesterday's Love it or Hate It? - maybe I need to go out and buy some new Adidas. What do you all think of this Wet Seal Print Block Tube Top, $18.50? Most of you loved those BJ shoes...do you feel the same way about this bold striped tube top with a graphic black and white print underneath? One thing's for certain: this would look awesome under a black light!

Jenni Kayne's Fall '09 collection was brilliant, but I didn't expect anything less from the trendsetting designer. Among the standout looks was this all-black trouser and tube top set, finished with chunky sandals, a gold ball necklace, and black-rimmed glasses. Simple yet unmistakably cool, that's Kayne's forte. If you wish to recreate it, French Connection's Cosmic Wonder Tube Top ($80, originally $138) should be your starting point. It's pleated like the designer version but way cheaper. Get your Kayne on.

Most people hate the rain, but not sosupersam. The LA cutie welcomed the inclement weather in a stylish, splash-proof outfit. The green anorak is beyond rad and I fancy her cozy, oversized tube scarf. Like Bilson, she kept her toes dry in a pair of black Hunter wellies - smart!

Lulu's, New Go-To For Vintage

The unworn merchandise at Lulu's is just fine - and cheap! - but now they've added a new vintage collection for their quirkier customer. I'm stoked because the buyers know what's up - that most women these days seek chic and cheap. So far there are about 95 vintage items, most under $50. Sequined tube tops, sweet velvet dresses, quirky blouses, and denim rompers are waiting for you . . .

Designer Spotlight: Sofie Ølgaard

I recently met Danish clothing designer Sofie Ølgaard and was swept away by her unconventional creations. A local nail spa was hosting a shopping event and Ølgaard's rack stood out. Not because it was flashy - the Sweetie Cups au natural cupcakes take that cake - but quite the opposite, because it was so clean. I studied every piece, each silhouette captivating me more than the previous. But the one that stole the show was the navy silk drape dress (center). I had to have it - it's subtly sexy for night, but with a tube top underneath and leggings, it works for day. If you appreciate complicated silhouettes versus vivacious colors, Ølgaard is your fix. Sneak Peek! Target Accessories, Fall '09

Back-to-school might be a couple months away, but Target's already gearing up for the upcoming season. For Fall '09 accessories, the retailer focused on texture and sleek embellishments such as suede shoes made in a rainbow of colors and clutches decorated with zany zippers. The collection isn't over the top, which I like, and the prices are right - ranging from $10 to $40. I already have the jeweled cuff and Wang-ish red clutch on my list, and I'm also smitten with this purple tube scarf. Definitely something to look forward to when the days get shorter and the nights get longer . . .
