What's the difference between ice florals and moody florals you ask? They're cooler. While I also like a burst of turquoise or coral during Winter months, sometimes black, white, and gray feel more serious. Emma Roberts' cute Miu Miu dress exhibits ice florals perfectly - with a happy note of yellow. Black tights and patent pumps further cool the complementary ensemb.

Which Vogue Front Row Shoe Is Most Fab?

When I saw this shoe lineup in the November Vogue, I thought, what a dope shoe editorial. Um, no. This was the front row at Juan Carlos Obando's Fashion Week Spring show. These are not models, these are real life fashion players, their covetable shoes, and their glossy shins. Not only was this issue, with Reese on the cover, a stand out, I simply couldn't stop staring at this candy lineup. Can you? I served up some shoe fare for breakfast yesterday, here's another taste. Let's pick favorites, shall we? For me, it's between the dramatic yellow Balenciagas and the spectacularly shiny Galliano blue corset sandals; I can't pick just one. But you have to!

On Our Radar: Christmas Stockings by Top Designers

How cool would it be to get a Christmas stocking created by either Vera Wang, Alexander McQueen, Marc Jacobs, Tuleh, Rodarte, or the boys from Heatherette? Well, starting Wednesday, December 19 at 6 p.m. PST, cool can become a reality. WWD has asked these top designers to create and stuff one-of-a-kind Christmas stockings for charity.

All of the proceeds from the five-day eBay auction will benefit Citymeals-On-Wheels, an organization that provides nutritious food and human company to homebound elderly New Yorkers in need. Some of the goodies to look forward to are a Marc Jacobs ribbon watch, Broadway tickets, a Tuleh ostrich clutch and a Heatherette tank top.

On Our Radar: Lord & Taylor Going Strong

Everyone from Gap to Target to H&M have recruited major designers to create less expensive lines for their brand, so what's stopping Lord & Taylor? Nothing. The department store tapped Tuleh (left) designer Bryan Bradley to create an exclusive line called Bryan by Bryan Bradley in April and the feminine and affordable pieces have already hit stores.

Cynthia Steffe and Charles Nolan are also part of the Lord & Taylor family; Cynthia is designing for the accessories department, while Charles offers affordable and chic clothes. Rumor also has it that the next designer collaboration may be with Peter Som. Fingers and toes crossed.

Are you feeling the love? Valentine's Day is months away and yet designers were sending hearts and kisses down the Fall runways last February, so they were obviously feeling the love. If you're not shy of cheeky motifs, it doesn't get much sweeter than this. Just look at this vixen on the Tuleh catwalk, she's been kissed by the fashion bug. I heart fashion.

New York Fashion Week Trend Alert: Quirk

I have come to realize that the trends are really all over the map for Spring. Which is cool, because this means we'll have variety and designers are doing their own thing, whether the outcome is good or bad. One direction a lot of designers did go was quirky. Whether they went the art route, like at Malandrino, the mad route, like at Marc Jacobs, or stepped slightly out of their comfort zone, like at Rebecca Taylor, quirk is the way of the Spring.

New York Fashion Week, Fall 2009: Barbie

It's not every fashion show you get to watch the designer watch their garment walk by them on the runway. That was only one of the many fun things about the Barbie runway show. As Bella agreed, the Barbie show was pure eye candy celebrating fashion's most plastic icon. Barbie has a three-year partnership with the CFDA, and is helping to bring you all of my and Bella's FW content, but the show was one of my favorites thus far. Virtually every designer put together something ultra imaginative inspired by the blonde doll. And, the front row was action packed: Heidi Klum, Jonathan Adler and hubbie Simon Doonan, Annie Leibovitz, and participating designers like Diane von Furstenberg, Catherine Malandrino, and Rachel Roy. Roy's black and white sequined bathing suit under a hot trench was one of my favorites, actually.Alas, I had many favorites; the fanciful looks just kept on coming. Here, Alexander Wang went the sexy route, Tuleh went all-American, and Bob Mackie beckoned oohs and aahs. Experiencing this show reminded me I am a Barbie girl in a fashion world.

On Our Radar: Designers Pay Tribute to Dorothy's Ruby Slippers

In celebration of The Wizard of Oz's 70th anniversary next year, Warner Bros. Consumer Products, Swarovski, and 19 designers have teamed up to create their own version of Dorothy's magical ruby slippers.

The list is packed with heavy hitters: A. Testoni, Abaeté, Alberta Ferretti, Betsey Johnson, Botkier, Christian Louboutin, Diane von Furstenberg, Giuseppe Zanotti, Jimmy Choo, L.A.M.B. by Gwen Stefani, Lisa Pliner, Manolo Blahnik, Moschino, Oscar de la Renta, Roger Vivier, Sergio Rossi, Stuart Weitzman, Tibi, and Tuleh are the chosen ones who will be creating their very own rendition of these magical shoes using Crystallized Swarovski Elements.

After the official unveiling at Saks Fifth Avenue NYC on Sept. 4, the collection will stop in Bryant Park for a viewing and is then set to tour the country in different art exhibitions. I wonder if I tap my feet twice, a pair will magically appear before me . . .
