One color is just not interesting enough anymore. Agreed. Colorblocking is always fun, and in small doses, like on a Marc Jacobs clutch, it's even more fun. Contrasting black and white is decidedly mod, while tonal colors are downright funky. Two-tone never looked so Fab.

J.Crew's packed Fall 2012 presentation showed a bevy of vibrant structured coats, eye-catching knitwear, and a refreshing mix of printed trousers. Almost every look has a sporty twist to it - we especially loved the casual pullovers made in silk floral prints, brushed fleece tops, and what has now become the brand's signature, daytime-appropriate sequins. Other standout pieces included a cozy two-toned tweed coat, leather trimmed jackets, and pajama-inspired pants. For accessories, VP of women's design Tom Mora provided major eye candy in the way of pastel candy-colored Manolo Blahnik pumps, Patricia Underwood hats, sleek snake-print bags, and textured clutches. Michelle Williams's Gorgeous BAFTA Dress Is . . . H&M!

The art of a well-executed surprise never goes unappreciated, and this one is too good not to admire. Case in point: Michelle Williams stunned at the BAFTA awards in a bespoke black-and-ivory H&M gown. Believe it. At first glance we assumed the consummately chic actress had opted for Chanel or Prada, but it looks like we've been treated to something totally new and unexpected. She complemented her strapless, boutonniere-adorned gown with a quirky faux Arthur Miller novel-cum-Olympia Le-Tan clutch and a statement collar necklace. Good news for anyone that can't get enough of this dress: a gold top ($40) and black skirt ($30) inspired by her gown will be available in select H&M stores in April, as part of the launch of the brand's exclusive Conscious collection. While we wait to get out hands on Michelle's sweet, simple evening ensemble, the real question remains - would you have ever guessed that this two-toned number was a custom H&M creation?

The Ladies Bring Their Most Glamorous Gowns to the Golden Globes Red Carpet

The red carpet at last night's Golden Globe Awards was filled with stars in their finest looks. Charlize Theron stole the show in a gorgeous Dior gown while Kate Winslet, who picked up the award for best actress in Mildred Pierce, posed in a black and white look by Jenny Packham. Angelina Jolie arrived on the arm of Brad Pitt in a neutral Atelier Versace with a pop of red. Presenter Kate Beckinsale wore Roberto Cavalli for her turn on the carpet with husband Len Wiseman and Fashion Star's Nicole Richie got glamorous in a beaded Julien Macdonald number and a House of Harlow clutch.

Red was a hot color this evening with presenter Reese Witherspoon in a sexy, fitted Zac Posen and George Clooney's girlfriend, Stacy Keibler, in a brightly hued Valentino gown with a bow detail. Natalie Portman went bright in a pink Lanvin after spending the weekend with her family in Santa Monica. The Help's Viola Davis showed leg in Emilio Pucci and Emma Stone broke away from her green streak with a two-tone Lanvin look.

Things took a dark turn with a group of ladies choosing classic black for the big event. Rooney Mara, who was nominated for best actress in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, continued her run of daring ensembles with a cutout Nina Ricci. Mila Kunis presented the best supporting actor award with Gerard Butler in Dior while Julianne Moore went with a strapless Chanel. One of the evening's winners, Claire Danes, showed skin in a backless J Mendel and presenter Salma Hayek rocked an edgy Gucci as she arrived with husband Francois-Henri Pinault.

There was more color mixing up the carpet with Modern Family's Sofia Vergara in a blue fishtail Vera Wang and Kelly Osbourne in a Zac Posen gown of the same hue. My Week With Marilyn winner Michelle Williams accepted her statue in a velvety Jason Wu while Melissa McCarthy took her turn in front of the cameras in a green Badgley Mischka and Evan Rachel Wood wowed in a Gucci Premiere halter.

ShopStylist lucyy crafted a red-carpet-worthy ensemble with a nod to pretty purples and peep-toe pumps. Channel a Mila Kunis at the Oscars moment with a similarly jaw-dropping violet creation. This off-the-shoulder Lanvin dress, paired with darker two-tone Alexander McQueen peep-toe pumps, is a "best dressed" contender. Add purple-hued statement earrings and a bejeweled clutch to top off the look. Lest we forget - for those chilly A-list evenings, throw on a faux-fur cropped jacket and head into the night.

2011 Oscars: Rhea Durham

The gorgeous Rhea Durham, otherwise known as Mark Wahlberg's enviable other half, just arrived in a fabulous, two-tone Naeem Khan gown. A full, red-hued skirt for the bottom, and a gold, flower-adorned asymmetrical top makes for a beautifully unique red-carpet style. As for accessories, Rhea chose a pair of delicate gold flower earrings and a sleek, gold clutch, while hair and makeup is natural and soft. What do you think?

We were bowled over by this breezy Summer look from Fab reader sergeantkero - not only does she look totally boho-chic in an ikat-print kimono, but she also manages to rock a pair of khaki short shorts with unbelievable ease. She accessorized the look with a pair of red leather sandals and a two-tone clutch. It's the perfect ensemble for a sunset-drenched dinner by the beach or cocktails with the girls.
