Just as former Elle fashion director Nina Garcia prepares for a guest appearance this Thursday on Ugly Betty, the announcement comes that more Elle editors are joining in on the ugly fun.
Elle Editor in Chief Robbie Myers and creative director Joe Zee will appear on the season finale of the show, which features a charity softball game between Elle and the fictitious Mode magazine. Myers and Zee will both be up to bat on the episode, wearing the uniform at left, and Naomi Campbell is set to play Elle's designated hitter.

When Ugly Betty returns with new episodes on April 24, it may seem like Project Runway is taking the spotlight.
PR judge Nina Garcia and, as earlier reported, PR season four winner Christian Siriano are both making cameos on the campy fashion show. No word yet on what roles they play, but I'm sure curious.

In the upcoming season of "Ugly Betty," don't be surprised if you see Vera Wang's face pop up! The designer best known for her wedding gowns was spotted in Los Angeles last week, taping a segment of the show about what else but the upcoming wedding of one of the "Betty" characters. Vera wears her trademark leggings and reportedly plays a nastier version of herself.

Ugly Betty has been such a success, VH1 is developing a reality show called America The Ugly which is said to be loosely based on Betty. The premise of the show investigates what happens to unattractive women who are working in the fashion and modeling industries. Becky Southwick, the fork-tongued former Wilhelmina Models executive who gained fame for calling girls fat on VH1's The Agency, is also involved.

In fact, she's quite fetching! With all the backlash against super skinny models and the new model regulations in Spain and Milan, I think a revolution is under way. An appreciation for a woman's natural curves is surfacing within fashion.

So you're probably thinking, "Why would I want to dress like Ugly Betty? Her wardrobe choices are unfortunate, at best!" Well, this may be true, but what about all of the awesome clothes that the other MODE magazine employees get to wear?
