Nubrella Ultimate Weather Protector: Love It or Hate It?

We've all heard of an umbrella, but a Nubrella? Welcome the umbrella that is more like a canopy, shielding you all around from the wind, rain, and snow - the elements. The Nubrella ($70) is nifty, but I wouldn't carry it. I'd rather be cold than be the girl in a dorky bubble. Would you wear it?

Simply Fab: Umbrella Draining Solution

I was wandering the aisles of my local drug store last night when something cool caught my eye: the Umbrella Draining System ($15). I thought the standing umbrella was innovative but this takes the cake.

Living in a city where it rains often, this could come in handy. The UDS umbrella comes with an umbrella holder in the same color - choose from silver, gold, pink, purple, or red. After you're done using your drenched umbrella, simply put it in its container and let the water drip in there. Once your umbrella is dry again, drain the water out. Why didn't I think of that?!

Fab Flash: Rihanna Launches Second Umbrella Collection

Rihanna is hitting up New York Fashion Week for at least one event: the launch of her second umbrella collection with Totes. On Feb. 5, the singer is hosting a luncheon as a follow-up to her original umbrella collection!

Rihanna Umbrellas are set to retail exclusively at Macy's this Spring, with prices ranging for $20 for a single-colored umbrella to $50 for a two-toned canopy style.

This is another one of those "Why didn't I think of that?" moments...

This Stand Umbrella, $60, is a must for those who live in rainy cities - love ya Seattle! Three little feet at the head of the umbrella provide stability so you no longer have to throw your umbrella in a corner. Like an obedient pup, you can keep your stand umbrella next to you while you wine and dine. And when you're shopping in the rain (my favorite thing to do when it pours, seriously, no crowds), you can stand it next to all those poor umbrellas that are on the floor, in plastic bags and in random bins. Talk about survival of the fittest!

Spring weather is around the corner, and for some of us it is already here. I think I am overdue to purchase a fun new umbrella! I already love these rainbow colored petite Samsonite® Pocket Trimline Umbrellas, $18.95. They are small enough to fit in my handbag so I always have one on me in case of surprise stormy weather. Umbrella #1, found by jke is this cheerful Cath Kidston Birdcage - Bubble Rose umbrella. I think it would certainly put a smile on my face on a gloomy, rainy day.

If you recognize those lyrics from Rihanna's latest hit, "Umbrella," then it'll make sense why the singer has come out with her own line of umbrellas for Totes. There's nothing fancy-schmancy about Rihanna's umbrellas, but they get the job done. (If you want fancy, check this umbrella out!)

Spring weather is around the corner, and for some of us it is already here, and I think it is time to purchase a fun new umbrella.
