Update! Geren Ford for Urban Outfitters

The entire first batch of Urban Outfitters' designer collaborations hasn't hit stores yet, but we have a glimpse of Geren Ford's affordable line, HAWKS. Tops, dresses, and shorts are priced between $48 to $128; some resemble pieces from Ford's higher-priced line. I'm looking forward to snatching signature Geren Ford ruffles at Urban Outfitters prices. Two items, a sailor dress and sailor shorts are already available online, with more trickling in any day now.

Update! Nina Garcia's Departure from Elle

I told you I would keep you updated on the Nina Garcia/Elle drama so here it goes.

The latest word is that the magazine has offered Nina a temporary - around six months - contributing editor's role, long enough for her to appear on Season Five of Project Runway. She has yet to accept the offer or comment on the recent ongoings. The show's producer, The Weinstein Co., is currently in talks to bring Nina, Michael Kors, Elle, and other partners back for a sixth season. It remains to be seen if the show would rehire Nina if the magazine is still involved and she is no longer employed there. Interesting stuff, but what I really want to know is where Nina will be headed next?!

Forever 21's Luxury Line Now Online!

Back in June, we announced Forever 21's plans to come out with a luxury line, Twelve by Twelve. Good news Fab ladies, that times has finally come. Twelve by Twelve is open for business, both in stores and online. The prices are still relatively cheap but definitely pricier than the regular Forever 21 line. Moises de la Renta and Mango = Tasty

Update: The collection will be called MDLR Moises de la Renta for Mango and will consist of a mini-collection of cotton tees and tanks with tulle and gemstone trims.

Remember Adam Lippes's collection for Spanish retailer Mango? Looks like Mango may have nabbed another up-and-comer: Oscar de la Renta's son Moises. With a more severe lady-like aesthetic, the designer is supposed to attend the retailer's Spring runway show in Madrid on Wednesday, along with the brand's muse Scarlett Johansson. If all goes according to rumor, we may be seeing Scarlett in Moises's Mango offerings. Tasty, indeed.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen Launch Olsenboye For JCPenney

On to the next. The rumors are true: Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are launching a juniors line for JCPenney. Olsenboye makes total sense: the sisters began their retailer endeavors in the junior market - it's not to be forgotten.

The line will debut in 600 stores in February, but an innovative marketing campaign will kick off today for three days via an Olsenboye “treat truck” cruising around NYC selling clothes and giving out cupcakes, balloons and pins. The Olsen’s will be making a surprise appearance on one of the three days. As well, empty racks in 50 high-profile stores will be covered in Olsenboye samplings. Come Nov. 6, Olsenboye will be sold on jcp.com and in those 50 stores, including the Manhattan flagship, for a limited time. Updates and a teaser video can be viewed on Olsenboye.com.

The retail prices will range $20 to $50 for casual sportswear and accessories that includes denim, bottoms, tops, dresses, skirts, shorts, jackets, handbags and shoes. Super cool: it will dabble in travel-inspired mini collections, each reflecting the looks and trends of different cities.

What does Ashley say about the news: “Mary-Kate and I watch current trends and see our partnership with JCPenney as an opportunity to add something unique to the marketplace, especially in the current retail climate. Olsenboye is an extension of the Dualstar brand and we feel this collaboration complements and strengthens our business portfolio, delivering trend-based fashion at affordable prices.”

Hot off the heels of their H&M Fall look book, Jimmy Choo has more shoe news. Goodie. The brand is launching Choo 24/7, a capsule collection of bestsellers updated with new colors and finishes. The 28-styles will be revealed this week at Milan Fashion Week then ready for the taking in January in Jimmy Choo stand-alone units and high end department stores. These won't be any cheaper than existing Choos - prices range from $395 for a simple flat to $1,200 for the Glenys gladiator stiletto (pictured). However, Jimmy Choo’s founder and president, Tamara Mellon, can help you rationalize that purchase: “We think of these shoes as investment pieces, timeless pieces, part of a wardrobe that every woman needs."

Gaultier For Target - Woo-Hoo!

UPDATE: Jean Paul Gaultier's exclusive line for Target will debut in stores and online on March 7. Photos haven't been released yet, but we do know the collection will feature pieces inspired by American women and pop culture from the past and the present.

We have no sneak peeks yet, but we do know it's going to happen. Jean Paul Gaultier has signed on with Target to be the next Designer Collaborator. Anna Sui's collab is available in stores and online now and included a pop-up store in NYC; sources say a pop-up may happen for Gaultier. I'm looking forward to a cool dose of Parisian chic and some hot prints. Stay tuned . . .
