Princess Eugenie of York and Princess Beatrice of York arrived at Westminster Abbey wearing two gorgeous outfits - a bright blue, floral-printed dress by Vivienne Westwood and a nude A-line dress from Valentino Couture, respectively. Princess Eugenie went for a colorful look, wearing a bold blue dress with a voluminous skirt, flowered jacket, and peacock-feathered hat. She accessorized with bronze pumps and a matching box clutch. Princess Beatrice, on the other hand, opted for a subdued, neutral look - she wore a dusty-pink, A-line belted coat with nude t-strap heels and a very amazing, very Lady Gaga-esque fascinator. Ginnifer Goodwin in Red Lace Valentino Couture: Love It or Hate It?

There are certain dresses I can't tell right off the bat if I love or hate. Ginnifer Goodwin's red lace Valentino Couture dress she wore to the Genesis Awards is one of them. On one hand, the color is punchy, the lace romantic. On the other, it's not coming together as beautifully as I had hoped. The silhouette is quite matronly, and the taupe pumps don't help the situation. What do you think?

Spring 2008 Couture: Valentino

After 45 years of dressing women impeccably, Valentino said his last goodbyes yesterday with one final couture collection.

The exit was consummately Valentino. Uma Thurman, Lucy Liu, and newly-appointed Valentino designer Alessandra Facchinetti witnessed a parade of bright bubble coats, tiered gowns, floral prints and ladylike suiting. The finale was the ultimate symbol of Val's contribution to fashion: the red dress. A stream of models wearing that one red gown filed out at the end, sending the retiring designer off in style, as no other finale could. Farewell, Valentino!

Fall 2007 Couture: Valentino

Valentino really went all out this time around - but why shouldn't he? He's celebrating his 45th anniversary in fashion!

No doubt about it, the show was extravagant: marabou, sequins, fur, and lamé went every which way. Karl Lagerfeld, Giorgio Armani, Donatella Versace, Tom Ford, and Diane von Furstenberg all populated the front row. The models looked dressed and ready for a ball, and there was plenty of Valentino's trademark old-school glamour to go around.

Opulently detailed suits in white, grey, and black were followed by gorgeous cocktail dresses in gold, silver, black, purple, and pink. For the finale, Valentino sent endless amounts of those red carpet-worthy floor-length gowns he does so well: bejeweled, satiny, neck-plunging absolutely divine gowns. And of course, the most strikingly beautiful dress was in his favorite color: red. I can't wait to see what happens on his 50th anniversary!

Gowns swathed in toile-inspired prints and soft, wallpaper florals hinted at Jane Austin era romance at Valentino. There's a distinctly feminine feel, and a hint of both Parisian decadence and Victorian propriety in the collars, bows, and capes that topped delicate silver-embellished gowns and sheer-topped confections. Everything feels emphatically pretty - the softness, the bow and floral-appliqué adornments; even the slipper-style loafers are done up in the same florals and details.

Trends: Sheer, antique and toile-inspired florals, Victorian collars.
Colors: White, cream, and soft pink, blue, and green.

Elton John's Oscar Afterparty Brings Out Stylish Models, Singers, and More

Elton John's annual Oscar party benefiting his AIDS Foundation was a hit in LA last night. The event, which was held at West Hollywood Park, was one of many fetes around town, but still drew plenty of big names. Alessandra Ambrosio showed off her baby bump in a Roberto Cavalli gown while fellow models Bar Refaeli and Brooklyn Decker followed the metallic trend in looks by Cavalli and Valentino, respectively. Miley Cyrus arrived in a glamorous Roberto Cavalli number as well with boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, and Vanessa Hudgens chose a strapless dress from Georges Chakra Couture.

Gwen Stefani arrived in a lacy Zuhair Murad mini with her band No Doubt and headed inside to mingle with friends. Kim Kardashian, in Alaïa, made it a family affair alongside sister Kourtney, and The Vampire Diaries' Nina Dobrev wore black J. Mendel on the arm of boyfriend and costar Ian Somerhalder. Malin Akerman and Anna Paquin mixed things up in embellished looks from Sportmax and Pucci. Anna was joined by husband Stephen Moyer for the exciting night.

Ashley Tisdale brought a pop of color in a bright red Maria Lucia Hohan and chatted with pal Vanessa during the bash, while Heidi Klum showed lots of leg in a yellow backless Atelier Versace. Katy Perry accented her blue locks with a sparkling Blumarine gown and Kelly Osbourne changed into a sweet Georges Hobeika Couture after working the Oscars red carpet.

The Ladies Bring Their Best Looks to the Glamorous Oscars Red Carpet

Hollywood's biggest night didn't disappoint as stars hit the Academy Awards red carpet in style. Bright neutrals were a big trend with multiple ladies choosing white looks for their turn in front of the cameras. Presenter Gwyneth Paltrow got daring in a caped Tom Ford outfit while The Descendants' Shailene Woodley wore a long-sleeved Valentino Couture gown. Cameron Diaz, who presented alongside a Zuhair Murad-clad Jennifer Lopez, went with a strapless Gucci number and nominee Rooney Mara picked Givenchy.

Some famous faces, like Natalie Portman and Emma Stone, chose to match the carpet in crimson hued looks. Natalie had a playful vintage polka-dot dress from Christian Dior as she arrived on the arm of fiancé Benjamin Millepied and Emma Stone, who presented alongside Ben Stiller, tied up her Giambattista Valli ensemble with bright lips. Best actress nominee Michelle Williams accented her orange Christian Dior dress with a pink clutch while Viola Davis brought another pop of color in green Vera Wang and presenter Penelope Cruz showed shoulder in Armani Privé. Adding to the rainbow of shades was also Melissa McCarthy in a custom blush Marina Rinaldi and Maya Rudolph in an embellished purple Johanna Johnson.

Black was big at tonight's Oscars with Angelina Jolie leading the way in a sexy slitted velvet Atelier Versace gown as she arrived with Brad Pitt and his parents Bill and Jane. Bridesmaids' Rose Byrne sparkled in Vivienne Westwood sequins while presenter Tina Fey chose Carolina Herrera. Jessica Chastain and Sandra Bullock mixed up the basic black with Jessica in a gold embroidered McQueen gown that she accented with $2 million of Harry Winston jewels and Sandra in a two-tone Marchesa.
