Who Wore It Better? Spring 2008 Abaeté Dress
Rachel Bilson's Spring '08 Abaeté dress was one of my inspirations for the Party On Party Dresses series. With the gaggle of stars showing up to New York fashion week, it was only a matter of time before duplications arose. Sure enough, Vanessa Simmons attended Betsey Johnson's Fall '08 show in the same Abaeté dress in the aqua version.

Back in May Reverend Run's daughters, Vanessa and Angela Simmons, came out with a shoe line sweetly named Pastry. Now the sisterly duo is expanding their repertoire to include apparel and handbags. The Spring line will consist of satin and spandex dresses, embroidered denim, stretch charmeuse tops, French terry hoodies and pants, and more.

You may recognize Angel and Vanessa Simmons from MTV's reality show "Run's House." The hip hop princesses, who launched their own sneaker line, Pastry on Sunday, are the daughters of ex-Run-D.M.C. star Reverend Joseph "Run."
