I absolutely love Peter Som's sophisticated black-and-white palettes and playful party dresses. Along the same lines is this Peter Som Crinkle Silk Chiffon Bow Front Top, which looks like it would be a great option for holiday parties. The chic sleeveless blouse has a big velvet bow and criss-cross straps in the back.

Years past have brought Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Viktor & Rolf, and Roberto Cavalli to H&M, but 2008 is the year of Comme des Garçons.
Although no specific details have been released, head Comme designer Rei Kawakubo is expected to produce men's, women's, and children's collections for the fast-fashion chain, as well as a unisex fragrance. The collection, which will likely incorporate Rei's stark avant-garde aesthetic, has a planned debut in H&M stores worldwide in the beginning of November.

Roberto Cavalli is the newest addition to the league of designers who debut collections for H&M around the winter holiday season, a league which includes Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, and Viktor & Rolf.
Cavalli's H&M collection, which features 20 menswear pieces and 25 womenswear pieces, including lingerie and matching accessories, promises to be full of his signature vivid prints and striking colors, all for a fraction of their normal price. The collection debuts in 200 H&M stores worldwide on November 8.

I love this photo collage from this week's Life & Style Weekly, proving that even celebrities crave cheap and chic fashion from the likes of Gap and Target. Kirsten Dunst stops off at H&M, Jessica Alba carries a giant Gap bag, and Fergie proudly shows off her duds from Express. But really, with designers like Rafe creating handbags for Target and Viktor & Rolf doing a line for H&M, it's no wonder the stars can't resist.
