Veruca Salt is a spoiled brat. She's the only child of a wealthy couple, and a real daddy's girl. She "wins" a Golden Ticket in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory by having her Daddy's factory workers go through thousands of Wonka Bars.

From the streets of LA to Paris, Chanel's Willy Wonka-esque sunnies are going along for quite a fashionable ride. Nicole Richie wore them first throughout her pregnancy in LA, while Mary-Kate Olsen just sported them at Giambattista Valli's Fall '08 show at Paris Fashion Week. Both are linking arms with men, both are wearing black, but who wore the quirky Chanel sunnies better?

I knew Nicole Richie's dress was familiar as soon as I laid eyes on it - I did a Designer Spotlight on Vanitas almost a month ago! Although this is not a traditional maternity frock, it sure looks good on her. The navy blue and red pattern is very vintage.

At first I was a skeptic about Nicole being pregnant. But then we started to see the bump and now, she is a full-on poster girl for high-fashion maternity wear. I am a believer.

I appreciate Dooney & Bourke's effort over the past couple years to reach out to a younger customer with colorful prints and too cute spokesmodels like the current Emma Roberts and our fave Lindsay Lohan. But a candy print might be taking things a little too Willy Wonka for me. This Dooney & Bourke Candy Print Bag was found by CGW in the Love It or Hate It?

Do you dream of pink ruffles, pastel hues, and big, bouncy bows? Sounds like an alternate female Willy Wonka universe to me. We were all there at one point in time; there being a six-year-old, pretty in pink, girlie girl.

I love stepping into the fun, wacky world of Fred Flare once in a while. Who doesn't? I would say Fred Flare is the Willy Wonka of fashion.

Two of girls' best friends—in this case, chocolate and fashion—collided at the 9th Annual Chocolate Show, held last Thursday in New York City. Some of the designs were absolutely gorgeous, like the Willy Wonka-inspired masterpiece and vampiric design above. Others, meanwhile, were totally gross—notably, the model with strips of chocolate running down her legs.
