It's known that wool is an itchy scratchy fabric so you wonder how in the world these people are chillin' in head to toe wool. According to these hilarious ads, Henkel Mir wool detergent solves that problem. The tag line is "Rediscover the freshness of wool" and that is exactly what this model (are you in there?) is doing. I won't lie, I would be freaked out if I came home and found someone dressed like that in front of my TV. But on paper it's fabulous because it's funny and does its job of intriguing customers. What do you think, freaky or fabulous?

The Bag To Have: M Missoni Wool Knit Bag

Minus the gaudy gold "M" pendant, this M Missoni Wool Knit Bag ($695) is exquisite. It's a good investment for those who covet the famous Missoni pattern but not the price tag.

Though it's still rather expensive, there are several perks to this purse. Firstly, the shape is just right; not too big, not too small. I also love the ruched leather handles and the shoulder strap. The black and grey pattern is unique, and very Missoni. Most importantly, I can see this bag matching almost anything...and when spending a paycheck or two on a purse, that's something to consider.

Simply Fab: RedEnvelope Merino Wool Hat-Scarf

Fall is upon us! Before we know it, Winter will be here too, all blustery and cold. Since I'm trying to think ahead, and admittedly have a mad scarf addiction, I was looking for the perfect scarf to add to my collection.

That's when I came across this RedEnvelope Merino Wool Hat-Scarf, $75, which is like two warm Winter accessories in one. The hat and scarf button together to keep your head and neck warm, but you can unbutton the two pieces and wear them separately too.

I love this idea, and the way the hat-scarf wraps around reminds me of all the old Hollywood stars and the headscarves they used to wear. Everyone needs a little old Hollywood glamour in their life...

Dior Cropped Wool Jacket: Love It or Hate It?

If there's one thing I'll say about this particular piece, it's that it is undoubtedly Dior. But otherwise, the $5,600 Dior Cropped Wool Jacket, available here, leaves me pretty speechless. To me, it really straddles the realms of beautiful and ugly. For instance, I could do without the animalistic Mongolian wool trim, but I love the way the fur plays off of the delicate beaded flowers on the back of the coat. The big, floppy collar and scalloped seams are also particularly artful, but the overall effect leaves a lot to be desired. What do you guys think? Love it or hate it? Tell me your opinion below.

The Look For Less: Helmut Lang Leather and Wool Dress

As of late, I've taken a strong liking to the combination of leather and wool, or leather and knit. I think Molly Sims's Elizabeth and James skirt sparked it. Leather on its own can be intense, but the addition of another fabric softens it up. If I could, I'd get this Helmut Lang Leather and Wool Dress ($875). It's modern and futuristic at the same time, but it's way too pricey for me.

Did you know the emu is Australia's national bird? I bet PetSugar does. Emu Australia is an Australian-based sheepskin footwear brand inspired by the bird's exceptional resourcefulness - it lives on little food and water in the desert. Founded in '94, the company provides stylish sheepskin boots, slippers, flip-flops, and sandals. But it doesn't stop there. It also has a line of apparel made of merino wool and sheepskin. Jackets, ponchos, beanies, gloves, and scarves are soft and everyday-wearable. I'm jonesing for this desert-chic look, crochet sweater, fuzzy boots, et al.
