What's your favorite flavor of couture lipstick: cherry, lemon or lime? At the Dior show, I noticed a lot of deep blood reds, but the looks on the On Aura Tout Vu runway stopped me dead in my tracks. I know that Shu Uemura makes those true-color, Rouge Unlimited artist shade lipsticks, but I've just never seen them worn.

Clad in Giorgio Armani Prive, an attention-loving fashionista can go from the office straight to the red carpet in an instant. By work-appropriate attire, I mean an office that demands high-fashion, high-drama and glamour to the max (think The Devil Wears Prada). That's exactly what Armani delivered this time.

Claire's got a snake on her dress! I've got a sweet spot for snake motifs, but I'm not really feeling it with this one-shouldered number - it just doesn't seem to flatter her. Elle, on the other hand, is still living up to her nickname: "The Body."

You're looking at two very different looks on Jennifer and Eva. The former is very glamorous Grecian, while the latter is elegant and understated. Both are appropriate, but I'd take Eva's look in an instant.

How romantic both Elizabeth and Uma look in their lace frocks. This is a tough one because both looks are super flattering. I am leaning towards Elizabeth because Uma's ruffles are a tad too distracting.

Valentino really went all out this time around - but why shouldn't he? He's celebrating his 45th anniversary in fashion!
No doubt about it, the show was extravagant: marabou, sequins, fur, and lamé went every which way.

Chubby furs, neutral colors, and whirls of fabric and feathers - that's what Givenchy couture is made of.
As a relatively young designer compared to the others who helm the great French couture houses of Dior and Chanel, Riccardo Tisci is still finding himself within the bounds of the House of Givenchy legacy. However, he is starting to pull together a few signature elements: the puffball skirt, the smoke-like frothy long skirt, the

The Chanel couture show may have taken place amidst rainy weather, the front row attendees may have ruined their shoes in the mud, but the clothes were anything but downtrodden. In fact, the bad weather made the stunning designs stand out even more.
The show opened with variations on the classic Chanel suit, with detailing from sequins to leather to feathers, and closed with the bride covered head to toe in a fantastic feathered dress.
