Love It or Hate It? Janet Jackson's Top-Heavy Bangs

As usual, Janet Jackson's skin glowed at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. But her hair looked a little top heavy, if you ask me. I'm used to seeing this triple-threat with bangs, but not bangs that look like they go all the way around the crown of the head. Perhaps if her hair was a few inches shorter it might look more balanced. What do you think of these big bangs on Janet?

Everyone's a Winner at the Kids' Choice Awards

The big party on Saturday night was all about the kids who were cheered on by big stars like Harrison Ford and Will Smith. Jessica Alba glowed in green with a huge grin as she accepted her award for Favorite Female Movie Star. Other winners included Harry Potter, American Idol, and of course Miley and the Jonas Brothers. Cameron Diaz won the Wannabe award for all her great work teaching others about the importance of the environment. She should also win an award for her insanely toned arms. It Was Another Slimy Kids' Choice Awards

After showing off their looks on the orange carpet, the stars got down to the real fun at the Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday night. Miley Cyrus was the night's biggest winner taking home the awards for Favorite TV Actress and Favorite Female Singer, but she managed to avoid being slimed. Orlando Bloom was not as lucky as he got the night's biggest sliming honor. Rihanna kept herself dry with her umbrella-ella-ella while her co-presenter Brendan Fraser got some of the sticky green stuff all over himself. Love seeing Shia and Harrison together on stage, but really, Mr. LaBeouf needs to figure out the hair - not good. Ashlee and Pete made fun of their mutual love of eyeliner while Cameron Diaz graduated from winning the burp contest to taking home the Wannabe award. Fun fun all around. Casual Rules on the Kids' Choice Awards Orange Carpet

Nickelodeon hosted the 2008 Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday night, and similar to last year, the big stars - like Will Smith - brought their families for a stroll down the orange carpet. Wannabe Award winner Cameron Diaz, America Ferrera and Ashlee Simpson were just a few of the ladies who got girlie in dresses, while Rihanna and Abigail Breslin went more casual in jeans. Check out Fab's coverage of the ladies' looks, as well as their Love it or Hate it polls. Even Project Runway's Christian Siriano was on hand to watch the fashion parade. Not quite the Oscars red carpet, but it looked like everyone dressed for a fun - or slimy - time.

Indiana Jones And The Arena Of The Icky Green Slime

Yesterday, the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards hit Los Angeles, for all those young and young at heart. Despite the rumours, Britney Spears didn't show – but that certainly didn't stop the fun! Orlando Bloom, host Jack Black and Harrison Ford had Nick's trademark gunge poured all over them, Miley Cyrus performed to the delight of the tween audience and many TV, movie and music stars showed, including Will Smith, Cameron Diaz, Rihanna, Usher, Ashton Kutcher and Janet Jackson.

Big winners were Miley, who won the Female Singer and TV Actress (for Hannah Montana) blimps, and Drake Bell, who picked up his third TV Actor award, and won the TV Show blimp with his castmates from Drake & Josh. I love seeing the stars out with their families at this event each year – Amber Valetta, Usher, Will, Chris Brown and more showed up with their kids / siblings / nephews / young friends to give them a great afternoon. Oh, and not forgetting Jessica Alba, who brought her growing baby bump along to pick up her award.

Love It or Hate It? Jordin Sparks' Nickelodeon Look

At last night's Nickelodeon 2008 Kids' Choice Awards, Jordin Sparks proved that a little bit of color can go a long way. The red streaks in her hair are pretty cute, I think, and she was smart to keep her makeup relatively low-key. Last year, Joss Stone streaked her way through her tour with mixed success, but I think this JS wears color better. What do you think of the look?

Kids' Choice Awards: America Ferrera

I really like the idea of a cocktail dress for the Kids' Choice Awards but this David Meister chartreuse silk taffeta slip dress seems a bit more wedding appropriate. It's pretty, and America looks stunning, I'm just not sure it's the right dress at the right time. I'll leave the decision on those wedges up to you as well.
