For his Pre-Fall collection, Alexander Wang manifested a dope line of unique, wearable clothes. I kinda love the influx of sheer leggings but if that's not your style, there's mucho more to choose from. To help feed our cool-girl personas, the wunderkind designed lean, leather vests, tailored separates, perfectly draped tees, and a couple badass frocks – remember Rihanna in this one? I can totally see myself donning Wang's casually sleek 'fits for nights out on the town and his hipster looks for a fun day at work. Really, what can't the Wang do?

Fab Ad: Chanel Pre-Fall '09

Chanel's Pre-Fall '09 collection was opulent to the max - it was, after all, inspired by Russia - so the ad campaign had no choice but to follow suit. And who better than Russian model Sasha Pivovarova to show off her rich roots? Karl Lagerfeld served as photographer, as he likes to do. The master styled and snapped his extravagant pieces, which were designed to showcase the skills of Chanel's couture atelier. Although these Pre-Fall pieces aren't attainable by all, they are quite mesmerizing. You get the sense that they aren't just clothes, that they have a rich history behind them. As long as the Pre-Fall goodies keep coming, we're going to keep sharing. This time, we have collections from Gucci, Prada, and Miu Miu. I like how Miuccia Prada experimented with texture in both of her collections. The Miu Miu line offered more whimsical pieces while Prada stuck to luxurious sophistication. For Gucci, Frida Giannini stunned me with slick, British intention. I'm in lust with the abundance of turquoise plaid and argyle like this outfit. It's so grungy cool. 2009 Pre-Fall: Michael Kors

After viewing Michael Kors's 2009 Pre-Fall collection, here's what we need to do to be in the know: wrap a thick, black headband around head; wear a long-sleeve turtleneck underneath a crop-sleeve coat, combine loud patterns, seek unique necklaces, don't be afraid of boxy cuts, overdo leopard. Phew! It's a lot to take in, but it all comes together beautifully, as exemplified by models Kasia Struss, Lindsay Ellingson, and Chanel Iman. If your goal is to look polished, mature, but with off-kilter undertones, this Kors collection will be of inspiration to you. I know I'll be taking away a few things myself.

FABTV: Chanel's Pre-Fall 09 Collection, Paris - Moscow

Chanel presented the Pre-Fall 2009 collection this week entitled 'Paris to Moscow'. The evening saw the debut of Karl Lagerfeld's silent movie about Coco Chanel which you can see a sneak preview of here. The show was held in Paris and is a chance for the design house to show off the talents of their couture ateliers. This line was inspired by Russia with military jackets and Russian doll embossed hand muff. See below for a video of the catwalk show.
