Banana Republic's Sporty Sleek Spring '10 Collection
Banana Republic is giving me something to look forward to come Spring. Honing in its love for polished sportswear, the retailer sent models down the runway in a fresh collection of denim, chambray shirts, silk tops, moto jackets, refined shorts, classic trenches, and slick chinos. "We’re still a work brand, but we want to have great weekend and going-out clothes, too," said Banana Republic's president, Jack Calhoun.
Celeb Style: Kate Hudson
Fashion's Night Out brought out many celebs, one of them being the lovely Kate Hudson. The actress kicked off the night at Vogue's pop-up shop inside Macy's, alongside Diane von Furstenberg, Anna Wintour, and Michael Kors. Keeping her fashionable was a strapless plaid Michael Kors dress, long gold Jack Vartanian earrings and gold bangle, and metallic peep-toe pumps.

I don't know if I could ever do his and hers bath towels, but his and hers fragrances? I can handle that. This month, Banana Republic is set to launch two new complementary scents: Republic of Women Eau de Parfum ($48) and Republic of Men Eau de Toilette ($47).

We've been seeing so many hard-edged looks, it's refreshing to see a ladylike sundress — remember those? OK, so she's wearing a white crop top under, which could be considered unprofessional, but this is Rihanna we're talking about. This ensemb even contains a nautical nod.
Banana Republic Debuts Its Leather Camera Bag
As far as I know, Banana Republic hasn't really been in the gadget accessory game, but all the same, I'm happy to see its (maybe) first: the new Leather Camera Bag.
At 11 inches by 13 inches by 4 inches, the size is big enough for your SLR, and it's nice, simple, but luxe looks nab it a spot in my roster of stylish SLR camera bags.
But it is also $148 — pretty pricey.
Fab Ad: Banana Republic, Fall '09
Banana Republic is no stranger to using real-life artists in its ad campaigns. For Fall, the retailer has recruited a crop of young Hollywood actresses: Nicole Fiscella, Lauren Ambrose, Krysten Ritter, and Florence Faivre. Not pictured but also part of the campaign are actors Chris Messina, Scott Speedman, and Juan Diego Botto.
