If Marilyn Minter's sticky and sweet Green Pink Caviar video for Madonna left you wanting more, check out this Marilyn Minter Tote Bag ($48). The still image of the tongue in full thrust — complete with gold goo — isn't as crazy as the video scene, but it's still racy. In fact, if you buy the tote this month, proceeds will go to Bright Pink, a nonprofit breast and ovarian cancer organization.

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and our friends at Shopbop are doing their part to contribute to the cause. Currently on sale are celebrity-designed pink tees ($88 each), half of whose proceeds go to Breast Cancer Network of Strength. Sophia Bush (left), Hilary Duff (center), Nicky Hilton (right), Jaime King, Cindy Crawford, and Denise Richards have all lent their artistic talent out of the goodness of their hearts.

You can always count on C&C California to have the softest, comfiest tees. I consider their Classic Tank to be, well, a classic. To ring in Breast Cancer Awareness Month, C&C has taken that Classic Tank and reincarnated it as the Breast Cancer Classic Tank, $48, complete with a cute little pink ribbon print!.

October is Breast Cancer Month so what better way to kick off the first of the month than with a site that combines fashion and philanthropy. Fashion Targets Breast Cancer, founded in 1994, is dedicated to finding stylish goods whose proceeds aid breast cancer. This organization has become fashion's most successful response to the sickness yet and includes countries like United States, United Kingdom, Australia and many more.

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation's mission is to achieve prevention and a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime by providing critical funding for research at leading medical centers worldwide.

Today marks the first day of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It's a yearly international health campaign organized by major breast cancer charities every October to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, and cure. When it comes to breast cancer prevention, early detection through monthly self-breast exams and annual mammograms for women over 40 is key.

More than 20 years ago, two organizations created a partnership to increase breast cancer awareness. The partnership has grown to include a number of national public service organizations, professional medical associations, and government agencies all working together to build awareness of the disease, share information and provide access to screening services for countless women.
They claimed October as their month to highlight the issue, so today, Oct.
