Fab Ad: Dolce & Gabbana Mens Fall '09
Dolce & Gabbana are keeping things sporty for the boys for Fall — its premiere ad was shot inside Mohammad Ali's old stomping grounds at Gleason's Gym in Brooklyn. The campaign, shot by Steven Klein, features Eva Herzigova looking sexy in a corset dress and blazer standing alongside Madonna's boy toy, Jesus Luz, plus David Gandy, Noah Mills, Adam Senn, and Julienne Quevenne all wearing D&G's slick offerings. There's a lot to take in; between the boxing ring in the backdrop and models stretching in fancy menswear (peep left), I can't seem to focus on the clothes.

It looks like Kate Moss may have opened the floodgates for supermodels designing clothes: Gisele is set to design a range of clothing with Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.
Although she has been prodded by various offers to design in the past, Gisele stuck to modeling and endorsing until Dolce & Gabbana gave her an offer she couldn't refuse. The line, Bundchen by Dolce & Gabbana, is set to unveil next Spring.

And yesterday, the young actress made an appearance at the Dolce & Gabbana Makeup event during Milan Fashion Week, undoubtedly wearing a palette of shades from the collection.

If the fashion weapon of choice for women is the handbag, then the equivalent for men is the trouser. A battle is brewing today between Giorgio Armani and Dolce & Gabbana. Both fashion houses have shown their menswear collections in Milan over the weekend, but Armani is accusing the Italian design duo of copying a pair of quilted trousers from last year's Armani collection (pictured below left at D&G and right at Armani Fall 2008).
