Happy Halloween everyone! It's that time of year again when you can dress up and have fun. In the build up to today I have been suggesting costumes for you so here is a quick round up of my ideas.

There's only a few days to go until Halloween which means its time for you to get cracking with your outfit! A pirate costume is easy to put together and you probably already have some of the items. All you need is a striped t-shirt, a scarf (preferably with skull and cross bones on it) and some cut off jeans.

The Craft became a sleepover staple when I was at High School. We would discuss which girl we'd be and it definitely inspired our teenage rebellion wardrobe! This makes it a great Halloween costume, especially if you're attending a party with a group of friends.

Halloween is just around the corner, but before you reach for the witch's hat or cat ears, why not try out something more exciting this year? The spooky day no longer means restrictive costume choices as anything goes and you can even be a bit racey (think about the Mean Girls rule!) Lady Gaga has pushed the boundaries of fashion this year and impressed us with her array of outrageous ensembles. This makes her a great candidate for a Halloween costume – just be prepared to bare!

If costumes aren't in the cards for you this Halloween, I suggest you get festive with some of Net-A-Porter's eerily decadent delights. They've put together their favorite Halloween-inspired items and the selection is filled with luxurious items from the likes of Luella, Burberry, and Chloe, to name a few. From spider web dresses to studded gloves, their offerings will leave you smiling and looking Halloween fabulous.

You can dress up as anything you like for Halloween but I still think that you can't beat a classic witch or cat costume. Call me traditional but I like to look a bit scary for the occasion and nothing scares me more than the Wicked Witch of the West from The Wizard of Oz. Think black and white stripey socks and bright red shoes sticking out of a knee-length black dress.

Want to be cute as a button come Halloween? Betty Boop may be old (circa 1932) but she's still got it. I was BB a few years ago and it was a cheap, flirtatious costume.

The Queen of Rock 'n' Roll is here to make your Halloween a blast. It's time to release that inner diva and shine as one of the sultriest female rockers in history. Tina is known for her legendary legs, lips, and hair, so play up those features in fringe and sequins — definitely something short, sexy, and playful.

Twiggy may no longer scream mod queen, but circa 1960s, she was highly popular for her high-fashion mod look. If you're looking to mimic someone with a bold, youthful signature style this Halloween, Twiggy is your girl. Inspired by the mod creations of English fashion designer Mary Quant, the supermodel wore everything from mini skirts to shift dresses, go-go boots to funky print dresses, sequins to plaid.

It's a sign. I'm trying to decide on my pup Annabelle's Halloween costume, and after a weekend of pet store perusing, we're leaning toward these adorable bat wings. Since my little Frenchie is black, the black bat wings looked so simple and chic.
