The price seems a little steep, but at $34, these Etre Touchy Gloves do solve a basic problem: using your iPhone, iPod, computer, or other touch-screen device while wearing gloves. Most gadgets won't respond to a woolly glove, only bare skin. In theory, I like these.

If you require gloves but hate not being able to type on your iPhone while wearing them, fingerless gloves are a happy medium. These Crochet Knit Purple Fingerless Gloves are super cool, no? I dig the rich color and the way they scrunch.

I'm in desperate need of a new pair of cozy gloves (or two!). I don't live in snow, but my hands still manage to freeze every morning. I'm not too picky about style — I'd rather see where your imagination takes you.

After perusing a selection of gorge(ous) gloves, I came to the realization that I need a pair of fingerless gloves. They remind me of Madonna circa 1980, plus I love the tough-chic vibe. I live in a fairly moderate climate, so these Alexander McQueen Fingerless Gloves ($470) would be a perfect Fall staple.

Gloves have a certain mystique. Then there's the upped glam factor when you slip into gorge(ous) gloves. Remember how screen sirens of yore seduced with their Hollywood waves and sexy satin gloves?

It might seem too early in the season to be considering buying gloves, but this season Karl Lagerfeld becomes an unlikely style icon as his penchant for leather fingerless gloves influences the fashion world. Designers such as Alexander McQueen have copied Karl's signature item for the cooler months.
The gloves aren't always fingerless, but they are often short and square in shape.

You may not believe me but it is definitely getting slightly warmer in the UK. I still recommend wearing a coat when heading out but you might soon be able to leave your hat and scarf at home. Gloves can be quite stylish, particularly if they're made from suede or leather or even lace.

March is coming in like a lion in many parts of the country where snow is still building up and the winds are howling. Though Spring is just around the corner, the volatile weather means it's still too early to put the hats, gloves and scarves away. This goes for mamas, as well as our lil ones.

The same thing happens every year without fail. As February arrives, kids lose their mittens just as the stores are turning their merchandise over to Spring. Good luck finding a replacement set this time of year.

Leather and zippers usually go together like peanut butter and jelly but there's something to be said about these Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair Zippered Gloves ($215). Is it just me or do they remind you of dish-washing gloves? This is a classic case of good intention, bad execution.
