This weeks episode of Gossip Girl was chock full of great one liners, awesome hairstyles and of course, clothing and accessories. Nate and Blair are still going strong, however, it's upsetting to see he and Chuck arguing over a girl. Serena, Lily and Rufus get schemed by Gabriel, and Georgina Sparks is back to spice things up, even though the Upper East Side is never dull!

It's only just July, but things are already heating up on the Gossip Girl set, as the show has just cast another new love interest for a major character. First came news of Joanna Garcia's guest role last week, and now it's Hilary Duff's turn.
Duff has been cast as Olivia Burke, a movie star who comes to NYU seeking a normal college experience and ends up as Vanessa's roommate.

Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester has teamed up with Cobra Starship for the song "Good Girls Go Bad", and here's the video for you to check out! For all of you that are curious why brunette Blair has lightened up, Leighton's been filming a movie, and went back to her natural blonde hair colour for the role. It's an upbeat song, but I'd like to know what you think of Leighton's step into the music world.

The cast of Gossip Girl is back to work in a big way, and yesterday Leighton Meester, Chace Crawford, and Ed Westwick did a quick costume change and were back to the grind. Fans of Chuck and Blair will be happy to see the troubled couple holding hands, which means they'll be together for at least a few episodes. Meanwhile, Chace filmed scenes with a different kind of costar — a hot red Ferrari.

Blair, Chuck and Nate are back! Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick and Chace Crawford got back to work, filming the third series of Gossip Girl in Manhattan. The newly 22 year old Ed looked typically eccentric in his Chuck wardrobe, Chace looked gorgeous — I love his hair pushed back — and Leighton looked super-summery in her floral dress.

Spotted, the cast of Gossip Girl reunited and back to work after a quick Summer break. Ed Westwick celebrated his 22nd birthday at Lucky Strike on Friday night with Jessica Szhor by his side before slipping into Chuck Bass's suspenders today. Leighton's been busy working on her music — check out her new video after the jump — but today she put Blair's impeccable fashion sense on display in her floral dress.

On Saturday night Gossip Girl hunk Ed Westwick turned 22 years old, and went out to take part in some bowling with friends at New York's Lucky Strike. He was accompanied by his girlfriend Jessica Szohr, who flew in to surprise her man looking very tanned as they arrived at the party venue. He was treated to a birthday cake, or cupcakes, each featuring "HB ED" on top of them — mmmm!

It's not as good as a second season of Privileged would have been, but at least it's something: Joanna Garcia has booked a guest role on Gossip Girl as a love interest for one of the regular characters — supposedly Nate.
Garcia will play Bree Buckley, described as "an irreverent, slightly evil Miss America type" who comes from a conservative Southern family but is politically progressive herself. She's going to appear in four episodes, starting with the Sept.

Last night's episode of Gossip Girl saw the return of Serena from her wild trip to Spain and she has a secret to share (of course) which requires a spot of legal help. I wonder if these kids ever go to school as Nate struggles with his newly rekindled relationship with Blair and she becomes a wedding crasher. Meanwhile, the Humphreys financial woes continue so Dan decides to take the matter in to his own hands which lands him a little closer to home than he anticipated.
