Fab Ad: H&M Christmas Campaign

Who Wore It Better? H&M Multicolored Sweater Dress

One multicolored H&M sweater dress, two completely different ways. Rihanna opted for an eccentric version, wearing it with a Louis Vuitton fanny pack, chunky combat boots, and a chain necklace. Alternately, Katy wore her sweater dress in a womanly way, with high-heeled over-the-knee boots, a double-strap belt, and metallic bag. Both ladies ooze confidence, but this is a matter of taste - do you prefer the badass or the babe?

Jimmy Choo for H&M Launch Party

The latest collaboration with H&M landed in stores over the weekend as Jimmy Choo's bargain heels went on sale to the public. There was a party at the Regent Street store on Friday night as on the ball shoppers got first choice. There were also a few celebrities there including Nicola Roberts, Alexandra Burke, Little Boots and Jameela Jamil. There was a mad rush on Saturday as shoppers queued in the pouring rain to bag a pair of designer heels for under £100. Some of the pieces are now on Ebay and are expected to reach double the price.

Breaking News: Sonia Rykiel for H&M

There are just a few weeks to go until Jimmy Choo for H&M hits stores across the world, but the High Street giant have just announced another exciting collaboration. Iconic French knitwear brand Sonia Rykiel will create not one, but two collections! The first, which will mainly consist of lingerie, will launch on the 5th December and will be available in 1,500 H&M stores across the globe. Whats more, the items will also be available in Sonia Rykiel boutiques.

The second part of the collaboration, a line of knitwear for girls and women, will launch on 20th February 2010. These designs will only be available in 250 shops across the world and will include funky accessories. President of Sonia Rykiel Nathalie Rykiel, commented,

“It is a hallmark of Sonia Rykiel to think of all women because fashion is about a certain spirit more than a question of means. This collaboration fits perfectly with our philosophy. The Sonia Rykiel pour H&M lingerie collection is the ideal way to offer the essence of Rykiel to a great number of women around the world, and a beautiful way to close the year. The knitwear collection is perfect for welcoming a colourful new season."

The French fashion house recently celebrated forty years in the fashion industry with an exhibition in Paris and a catwalk show where many designers paid homage to Ms. Rykiel. H&M have teamed up with many big design houses in the past including Stella McCartney, Karl Lagerfeld, Matthew Williamson and Roberto Cavalli.

Jimmy Choo for H&M lands in stores this weekend giving you the chance to get your mits on a pair of designer heels for under £100. However, don't blow your budget all at once as the Sonia Rykiel collaboration is just around the corner. The lingerie part of the capsule line launches on 5th December, but not before H&M throw an enormous party for the French fashion brand. Do you remember Matthew Williamson's boat party in New York? Well, Sonia Rykiel is going one better by staging a parade and catwalk show at the Grand Palais in Paris.

This venue has been home to Chanel's amazing shows, including the farm themed collection last month. This catwalk show will include the lingerie and the knitwear which launches next Spring. I wonder if ad campaign stars Lara Stone, Caroline Trentini and Anna Vyalitsyna will walk in the show? I hope so!

A Sneak Peek at Madonna's New H&M Collection! Part III

Alas, all good things come to an end. But really, this is just the beginning for Madonna's new collection for H&M because it will be in stores this Thursday! I have given you a sneak peek at the accessories and the "lights" and I saved the best for last - the "darks."

According to the grand dame, she "wanted something casual but naughty, sensible but sexy. That's me. That's how I am. I wanted the collection to be for a working girl." Yep, I would say that describes the collection. With friendly fabrics like jersey, cotton poplin, leather and Lycra we can all strike a pose in any of these garments.

You will see influences of 70s disco dresses and leather jackets, 80s dancewear, kimonos and sharp tailoring - all subtly screaming Madonna. Madonna relayed "This is a combination of outfits I would love to wear. Bits and pieces have been inspired by the outfits in my own wardrobe, and also by what I love..."

And what do we love? Madonna & her gift to us of beautiful clothes at affordable prices!

While many moms are choosing not to inject their wee ones with the vaccine, others are standing in clinic lines for hours hoping for their share of the shot. Since children and pregnant women are considered part of the highest risk group, it is natural that child caretakers should also try to guard themselves against the illness. Many mamas who aren't necessarily fired up about getting an H1N1 vaccine for their child may request their nanny get one. Fab Ad: Jimmy Choo for H&M

There are only a few weeks to go until the Jimmy Choo for H&M collaboration lands in store. The luxury footwear and accessories giant is, for the first time, offering affordable stylish heels and handbags for the masses – just in time for party season. I have already given you an idea of what to expect, and now the ad campaign have been revealed and they even star Ms. Mellon who was shot by Terry Richardson.

The accessories will appear alongside a clothing range which is a first for Jimmy Choo. Tamara told WWD, "It was H&M’s idea to [do clothes], and as soon as they said it, I really wanted to do it. It’s the same woman [who is the inspiration for Choo’s] fall collection. She’s rock ’n’ roll, a little punk." The designs are available from 14th November and she admits that it hasn't been easy. “It was a challenge for us to create high-quality pieces at an H&M price point.” Are you looking forward to this collaboration?
