Live Facebooking Happening in NYC Storefront
Famed NYC department store Henri Bendel wasn't satisfied to simply tweet that it had launched an official Twitter page and Facebook profile, no no.
Instead of coming quietly into the modern age, Bendel's has installed a young woman in its store window, reclining with her laptop and updating the Bendel Twitter and Facebook pages, respectively.

Henri Bendel is looking to revive its brand with new accessories-based stores. “We’ve always been famous for accessories in our store and a little over one year ago we started testing Bendel’s branded accessories in the store and got a great response,” said Ed Bucciarelli, president and chief executive officer of Henri Bendel.
The new accessories stores will mimic the look of Bendel's original Fifth Avenue location using whimsical touches and brown pin-striped walls.

Head on up to the 3rd floor where you will find Popgadget's Dream Machines which show off hot holiday products like the fabulous Flip Ultraseries Camera and the rainbow colored Sony MicroVault USB drives. Mia Kim of Popgadget says:

Although Mr. Nars had left long before I arrived, I did enjoy meeting all of the friendly gals I've been speaking and emailing with for months over at Nars Cosmetics.
