Remember when Kate Bosworth wore this Phillip Lim recycled zipper dress at the Gorgeous and Green benefit in San Francisco? Amazing. In fact, Becki Newton wore the same dress a couple months later – who wore it better?

What says sexy time to me? Lace bras, specifically ones like this Miu Miu Silk Triangle Bra ($320). The fact that it doesn't have an underwire makes it so delicate, and the combination of lace and satin is quite delectable.

I know bow flats have been around forever, but I recently became smitten with these Prada Stud Bow Flats ($530). What I don't love, however, is the high cost. The soft bow and studs are desirable — the price tag, not so much.

Fab reader Shahrzaad recently pointed out in our The Fashion Stylist group that everyone is wearing pirate boots these days. Right on. From Kate Moss to models on the streets, many are dipping their feet into Vivienne Westwood's Buckled Pirate Boots ($789).

There's something intriguing about a black jacket that has a hint of shine, like this DKNY Embellished Trim Wool Jacket ($504). It's totally classy and sassy at the same time — a modern Coco Chanel would wear it well. Since most modern Coco Chanels are budget conscious, I hunted down a less expensive version that is twice as nice.

I already have a tweed Chanel-inspired jacket, but I don't have a cool tweed blazer . . .

Each year, I look out for a new shiny bag I can make my partner in crime for the holidays. This Kate Spade Sequined Long Shoulder Bag ($375) totally fits the bill. I dig the long strap and how the texture is imperfect.

I can't think of a chicer way to stay warm right now than velvet leggings. They're cozy and luxurious, a more mature cousin of the liquid legging. These Alice + Olivia Velvet Leggings ($128) are one of the many I've spotted.

Menswear vests are still in, but now is the ideal time to cozy up to a cable-knit sweater vest. It whispers Fall, and keeps you warm enough without suffocating. You can wear it over a tank to show off your arms or a long-sleeve tee when it gets super chilly.

It takes a while to warm up to leather pants because of their motorcycle-biker connotation, but surprisingly, a lot of you would wear them. My philosophy is less biker, more rocker, with a feminine twist. I have a pair of liquid leggings, but pants are cool because you can wear them with more cropped tops.
