Across the pond in New York, Fashion Week has been keeping the city that never sleeps buzzing. The shows officially started on 10th September, which has given me quite some time to start analyzing the newest beauty trends for Spring 2010. For those of you who are happy to put aside your perky neon and pastel makeup, this is your season to let your inner beauty do the talking!

Behind the scenes at the Fall 2007 Luca Luca show was every bit as glamorous as you would have imagined. Gorgeous, flawless looking models sat and waited their turn as makeup artists, lead by Tom Pecheaux, perfected smokey eyes and hair stylist, Teddy Charles, coiffed and curled.
The clothing was lined neatly in racks and the red carpet area had a white and silver Luca Luca backdrop.

Luca Luca continues to exude upscale elegance and charm with their Fall 2007 collection. Colors here were muted; nothing was bold except for the gold/silver lame in most of the threads.
The showstopper was the ski wear.

Luca Luca may not be a household name, but when the Hilton sisters, Patricia Field, and Emmy Rossum all show up at the label's New York Fashion Week event, you know Luca Luca is a name to know. Created by Milan native and noted looker Luca Orlandi, the clothes are delightfully feminine without being fussy; again, we see a heavy reliance on neutral tones, here with romantic splashes of red.

Matt Lucas's Ex Kevin McGee Found Hanged
Matt Lucas's ex Kevin McGee committed suicide yesterday, after leaving a message on Facebook saying: "Kevin McGee thinks death is much better than life". Police broke into his Edinburgh flat at 8am, three hours after the message, to find the 32-year-old TV producer had hanged himself. Matt and Kevin married in a civil ceremony in December 2006, but Matt divorced Kevin ten months ago.
Jordan Joins David For His Birthday Bash!
Katie Price was out on the town in London last night to celebrate David Walliams' birthday in Notting Hill. David's birthday bash was held at The Electric Cinema, where Matt Lucas, James Corden and Geri Halliwell turned up to party with their friend. Kimberly Stewart held her birthday celebration close by, and also dropped in to greet the birthday boy.

Rachel McAdams and Josh Lucas teamed up for a bike ride around NYC this afternoon. The happy couple has been making the most of their time on the East Coast, apparently looking at properties together. Rachel's ex Ryan Gosling is also currently in the city.

Rachel McAdams has had a busy week in NYC promoting State of Play — check out Buzz's review here — but there's still room in the schedule for some time with her man, Josh Lucas. After chatting with Jimmy Fallon last night, Rachel and Josh were spotted checking out a few apartments together earlier today. The movie's promotional tour may have been short on red carpet events, but Rachel and Josh seem more comfortable with their low-key dating scene.
