On Our Radar: Mblem. by Mandy Moore Debuts Holiday Collection

On Sunday night Mandy Moore and friends had a celebration to debut the Holiday collection for the actress' clothing line, Mblem. Citizen Smith was the location and attendees included Sophia Bush, Monique Coleman, Whitney Port of The Hills and more. Mandy even performed for guests at the soiree.

Although the collection hasn't hit stores yet, one of the items, the Holiday Hoodie, will benefit the International Rescue Committee, an organization dear to Mandy and Mblem.'s heart.

Lucky Magazine Loves Mandy

We were definitely very excited to hear about Mandy's big appearance on How I Met Your Mother, but while we're waiting she continues to crank out fashion advice and promote her new clothing line, Mblem. Looking ever so stylish on the cover of Lucky (for at least her third time!), Mandy talks about her favorite finds and how she's mixing things up. She said,

"I woke up one morning and realized I'd become totally stuck in a rut. I can get very lazy, wearing just jeans all the time. So I'm really challenging myself to try more glamorous, girly things with a lot of bright color."

Mandy has definitely been staying true to her word - lately it seems like she's always sporting cute dresses and high heels. Perhaps girly Mandy has taken over and is here to stay.

More! Celebrity! Fashion! Lines!

Beyonce and Diddy aren't the only celebs in Vegas to show off their clothing lines -- Mandy (MBLEM), Lauren Conrad (self-named) and Wilmer (Calavena) all hawked their wares at MAGIC too. That's a lot of celebrity fashion lines in one big room. Mandy's got a hand in everything these days, but for Lauren this line (which you can read more about here) is really her first foray beyond reality TV (and, uh, being an intern). Well, as long as it puts a smile on her face it's all good -- the end of the show was pretty weepy last night. Do you think JustinBobby is gone for good? Is it me or is Spencer showing serial killer like tendencies? Were you paying attention? Then check out how well you can do on Geek's Quiz (this week I only got 2 out of 5, ouch).

More, more and more Mandy! She's such a sweet and spunky looking girl, I could never get sick of looking at her pictures. Most recently we see her with coral lips at the License to Wed Premiere.

In the center she's sheer and shiny-lipped at the Mercedes-Benz Bridgehampton Polo Challenge and on the right she's got a pink pout at her Mblem clothing line party. The other week we even saw her with devilish colored lips at the Dedication Premiere in NYC. Which color lip do you like best on Mandy?

Wow! Mandy just took her fashion sense up a notch for the filming of Oxygen network's special I Am Mandy Moore in NYC. She looks flirty and stylish in her Plastic Island black and white dots dress. And wise choice with the red patent strappies; they round out the look with a flash of color. Now only if she applies her new found fashion knowledge to her clothing line, Mblem.!

Mandy Moore Gets Real

It's no secret we love Mandy Moore, which is why we couldn't wait to hear more about the debut of the Holiday Collection for her clothing line Mblem. Mandy celebrated last night in Hollywood and she had more to be happy about than just her fabulous clothes. The actress and singer is now adding reality TV star to her list of accomplishments. The good news is it won't be your average reality TV show. The one-hour special will follow Mandy for one day as she prepares for and performs in concert. The show called I am Mandy Moore (could they not think of anything more original?) will air on Oxygen on August 14th and help her promote her new album, Wild Hope.

Design a Cure Celebrity T-Shirts

For Breast Cancer Awareness month, the charitable Design A Cure event paired celebrity designers with prominent clothing labels-or, in the case of stars like Beyonce, with their own labels-to create a line of t-shirts. The tees, each of which is signed by its star creator, are now being auctioned off on eBay, and 100 percent of the proceeds will be donated to the Cedars-Sinai Women's Cancer Research Institute. The auctions end Oct. 11. Here are some of my favorite t-shirts from the collection.

Let's Hope Mandy is Smarter Then Her Staff

I think most agree on this site that Mandy is a smart, beautiful, talented, successful actress as well as a wonderful role model. Too bad it seems like she may not have the brightest folks on staff. Page Six reports a goofy story from this weekend. Enjoy:

THE search is on for the dimwitted flack who mistakenly called designer Kai Milla's p.r. rep in a huff last week. An amused Stephen Bender tells PAGE SIX, "I received a phone call from a frantic young lady screaming, 'How dare you use Mandy Moore's name for an event you are doing when she is not even in New York!?' I said, 'Excuse me, what are you talking about?' 'You have Mandy Moore's name on the press release for this Stevie Wonder concert. She won't be able to make it, but thanks for the invite.' And I replied, 'Do you mean Kai Milla, Stevie Wonder's wife's fashion show which took place [last] Tuesday?' She screamed back, 'I guess so. Why is she on your media alert? Don't ever use her name ever!' So I look at the press release, and tell her, 'I am holding the media alert that went out Sunday and it lists several names and then says many more, not Mandy Moore.' And click, she hung up. The funny part is Mandy Moore has so many different reps for music, acting, whatever, that we can't figure out which one it was. Come forward and confess."

Whoops and haha. She just launched her Spring line of Mblem shirts. I got to get me some of those just to support this girl. Here are some pics of Mandy from the launch.

We love Mandy Moore. She has been a wonderful addition to Entourage this season and I can't wait for her next movie, Romance and Cigarettes. She is at Fred Segal launching her new clothing line called, Mblem. This girl can do it all.
