Mar 18 2010 - 3:50am Lee Alexander McQueen's death earlier this year is still sending ripples of sadness through the fashion world. Yesterday would have been his 41st birthday (check out a fab round up of his Spring pieces here) and the Council Of Fashion Designers Of America used the occasion to announce another tribute.
The British designer's final collection was shown at Paris Fashion Week earlier this month and his will now be awarded with a CFDA's special board of directors honour.
