Fab Sunnies: Round Face

If you have a round face then this sunglasses guide is for you! Much like square faced people, round faces need to be balanced out with the opposite shape so rectangular or square framed glasses are often quite flattering. This doesn't have to mean rigid shapes, as long as there is a straight line (usually across the top) then that should be enough.

Celeb Style: Lily Allen

Yesterday Lily Allen was out and about in London showing off her latest hair colour and visiting friends. She matched her new darker hair with a black maxi dress but added shots of colour with bright accessories and white pumps. Lily is rarely seen without her bright coloured Ray Ban wayfarers these days (as spotted on her head at Glastonbury and the supermarket!) and why would she be when they're one of Summer's hottest accessories. On Our Radar: Ray-Ban Wayfarers Get Two-Toned

This news couldn't have come at a more opportune time: Just when I was growing tired of Ray-Ban Wayfarers, the company is set to release its classic style in two-tone frames. What's more, a new slew of colors - candy apple red, ice blue, and lilac - are being created. Stores like Nordstrom, Barneys New York, Bloomingdale's, and Sunglass Hut will start selling them in April for $140 a pair.

Paris Hilton already has hers. I can see Sienna Miller, Kirsten Dunst, Drew Barrymore, and Mary-Kate Olsen also going ga-ga for these . . . get ready for yet another Wayfarer craze!

We've all seen the Ray Ban Wayfarers on the likes of Kirsten Dunst, Mischa Barton and Drew Barrymore a trillion times. But what's new in the Wayfarer world is they have just come out with foldable version, $109. How cool is that? So you can neatly fold and tuck them into your purse until you're ready to show them off again. It comes in black, tortoise (pictured), amber and dark brown.

Ray-Ban Wayfarers Get Painted With Fun

Ray-Ban and the Sunglass Hut have partnered for a fun cause. The latter started the Sunglass Hut artist series, hooking up popular brands with up-and-coming artists. One of them is Brooklyn- and San Francisco-based Maya Hayuk. She has customized and hand-painted 150 pairs of Ray-Ban Wayfarers exclusively for the Sunglass Hut, seen below. Starting Nov. 30, you can pick up a pair, retailing for $140, in the Ray-Ban section of the website. I want them all, but that's not so bad because 50 percent of the proceeds will go to the charity OneSight.

Totally Rad Ray Ban Wayfarers

These throwback, 50-year-old Ray Ban Wayfarer Sunglasses made quite a strong comeback in '06. We all remember a young Tom Cruise dancing around in these bad ass glasses in the cult flick Risky Business. And I distinctly remember crushing on Robe Lowe sporting these when I was a wee lassie.

Wayfarers were also the shades of choice in the music biz once upon a time. Famous singers such as: Madonna, Johnny Cash, The Blues Brothers, Bob Dylan and The Smiths also helped made these sunglasses iconic. Nowadays several the hot young celebs like Mischa Barton, Sienna Miller and Kirsten Dunst are wearing them.

The original black, smaller frame style caught the eye of Mary-Kate Olsen who apparently traded in her immensely over-sized ones for this more feminine frame. Coming this January, the smaller frame model will be back on the shelves selling for $130. Try calling your local Ray-Ban retailer to place a pre-order for the smaller frame originals. In the meantime, the the larger frame Ray-Ban Sunglasses are available for $114.99.

The Look For Less: Ray-Ban Wayfarer

As I've preached, sunnies are the coolest accessory. Like so many, Kirsten Dunst has fallen back in love with the Ray-Ban Wayfarer ($139). This '80s revived trend is still going strong; only problem is I'm a stickler for shades and can't fathom spending that much on such a trendy piece.

These Forever 21 Sunglasses ($7) have the same fun shape and styling as the Ray-Ban's but at a tiny fraction of the price. The bright-colored frames are red hot and I love the polished metal accents.

Ray-Ban's First Ever Online Store

Thanks to Rachel Bilson and other Wayfarer-loving celebs, Ray-Ban is experiencing a major resurrection. To keep the momentum flowing, the brand has (finally) decided to launch its first ever online store. "The online store is a natural extension, a logical step for the brand, providing the loyal customer with limited access to the brand," said Pierre Fay of Ray-Ban. The online store, slated to launch this month in the US, will come equipped with an abundance of awesome features including a virtual mirror where any user with a webcam can "try on" Ray-Ban's selection from the comfort of her own home.
