Fab Worthy: F-Troupe Boots

Every Winter I consider whether I want to buy Ugg boots or not. Although I think they can look quite ugly, they're the warmest footwear I have ever worn and perfect for snowy days. This year, it seems I won't have to face this dilemma as I have discovered F-Troupe's sheepskin boots (£163). The black leather ankle boots are flat and completely lined with sheepskin with a zip back detailing, allowing them to be folded down. They're unisex boots and are quite chunky. Keira Knightley has already snapped up a pair – will you?

Anna Sui for FitFlop: Love It or Hate It?

I admit, I was never a fan of FitFlops, but now that the brand has enlisted Anna Sui to design a line of cozy boots, I might reconsider. FitFlop - known for designing footwear that's biomechanically engineered to help tone and tighten your leg muscles while you walk in them - has collaborated with the bohemian designer to create these Shakoha Shearling Boots ($290). The line will be exclusively available at Net-A-Porter.com on Nov.11 and ShopIntuition.com starting Nov. 20. Are you loving them?

Pleaser Women's Ballet Ankle Boot: Love It or Hate It?

Whoa, this Pleaser Women's Ballet Ankle Boot ($138) should come with a serious warning. How about,"Likely to cause a broken ankle"? I've seen some crazy footwear, but this is asking for a hospital bill. I just don't see how anyone can walk in them. It's part ballet shoe, part stiletto, entirely nuts. I'm staying away, what about you?

Gok Wan Releases a Beauty Range For Boots

No silly, Gok Wan isn't designing his own collection of boots, the British television presenter and stylist has recently launched his first ever beauty range for Boots (you know, the chemist chain) called Gorgeous by Gok. I've seen the goodies which have been broken down into seven regimes according to how much time (10, 15, 20 or 60 minutes) you have to pamper yourself. Not only are they pink and purple and fabulous, but they're available now at affordable prices, which makes them great gifts to stash away for the Christmas season.

The X Factor house has become a popular destination for young fans of the show recently as people rush to get a glimpse of the upcoming stars. It has also provided a good platform for the singers to show off their dressed down style. I have noticed that both Stacey Solomon and Rachel Adedeji have been rocking some cosy and comfortable Jumbuck boots. Whilst Rachel went for a tassled Cherokee pair (£120), Stacey opted for a buckled military style (£130). What do you think of the girls choice of footwear?

My new favorite kind of boot is the over-the-knee. I look forward to chilly weather so that I can bust them out and spice my legs up with them. But here's the thing: the right pair can make you look chic, the wrong, not so. You'll know when looking at it which category it falls in. I already own a black leather flat one, but would love to add a luxurious suede heeled style to my collection. During my hunt, I came across dozens of unique boots that I would make mine, wallet permitting. Fab Tip: Boots Minus Blisters

There are certain boots you can't wear with socks. You know, the ones that make your socks slip off with every step. I recently experienced this with a new pair of taupe suede boots that are the same length as these Bottega Veneta Cutout Suede Ankle Boots ($1,090). They're gorgeous, I love them, but I hate that I can't wear them with socks. Sporty ankle socks, Peds, even dress socks slide right off when I walk. I like to wear socks with boots because they prevent blisters on my toes and heels. Do you feel me? If so, there's a simple solution.

To prevent blisters when wearing boots without socks, invest in some Toe Tape ($4). Instead of using it on your skin, cover the area inside the boot that has been causing blisters with it. Use as much as you need, the more padding, the better. That way, when your feet rubs up against the blister-causing area, it will now rub against the soft toe tape and not harsh the material. I already tested this out with my taupe boots and it worked wonders.

The nonstop precipitation has me in a bit of a funk, but natural born styler brightened up my day. Her rainproof ensemble makes me want to start singin' in the rain. She refrained from featuring the per-usual rain jacket and galoshes, and, instead, chose a pair of patent boots, skinny trousers, Lichtenstein sweater, and fringe poncho complete with a clear, kitschy umbrella! Now that's what I call slick, wet-weather dressing.
