I still think those shoes are utterly ridiculous for a small child, and I will continue to comment on them every single time Katie chooses to allow her daughter to wear them.

Maybe since Tom wears the equivalent of high heels with his shoe lifts he doesn't feel it's wrong for Suri to wear them too.

I agree--take the little kid to a fun park or the playground once in a while. Daily shopping trips can't be fun for her. My 4 year old niece lasts maybe a half hour in a store before she's completely bored to tears.

I agree with many that Suri should not be in heels as often as she is. Flat shoes are good for someone so young so her leg muscles don't shorten.

And I am surprised to see Isabella Cruise. There haven't been pictures of her in ages. I thought maybe she had left Scientology and they'd looked her in a dungeon or something. LOL

Don't worry, as soon as Suri grows as tall as Tom ( and it won't be long) she'll be back in flats!

Not one single poster here has said that they expect to see an example of a so-called "perfect parent" here with Katie Holmes--but one less clueless, idiotic and concerned with something other than her THREE year old daughter's FASHION status might be nice.

Of course Katie makes sure to parade the kid in front of the cameras when Suri is wearing one of her "designs" as if it's a magazine photo shoot. She couldn't have timed that better if she planned it...oh wait, she did.

Connor and Isabella used to live with and were home-schooled in the teachings of Scientology by one of Tom's sisters. Some did think that Bella had been shipped off somewhere to a Scientology camp for a while. Hope she gets out.

People decided, long before Suri, that they didn't like Tom and Katie. Now they just continue to dig for baseless, ridiculous reasons to perpetuate that. There are photos on this very site every day of celebrities "parading" their children around the paps...Jen Garner, Gwen Stefani, Jessica Alba, the Beckhams, the list goes on. But that's cute and normal because those celebrities are likable.

Get a grip, Joygirl! No one's claiming to be the perfect parent here but any person, parent or not, with half a brain can clearly see that something is off with this family. Regardless of whether you like them or not, we're almost into December and this kid has been running around on the East Coast in heels and half naked in the cold and rain since September. This isn't a one-time deal and it's shameful to see such voluntary neglect. Katie was extremely sweet and likeable before she became a robot. Wasn't Tom America's heartthrob for years and years? Whether it's scientology, fame or money (or a combination of all 3) that made them nutty is beyond me but they are doing no favors to this child and this negligence will come back to bite them in the ass. Gwen Stefani got a lot of heat for bleaching her 3 yrs old's hair, the Beackham's and Pitt's for constantly dragging their kids across the globe and living in airplanes... C'mon, it's not just the Cruise's...and I truly believe (and this goes for all celebs) that if they wanted to avoid the cameras, they would and could. There are plenty of worthy celebrities who do and get on just fine.

You don't see Connor and Isabella with Nicole Kidman because she left Scientology when she divorced Tom Cruise. The kids are not allowed to associate with her now that she went back to Catholocism and apparently they don't want to. Even Nicole Kidman admits she rarely ever sees them.

There are many, many celebrity/actors in the same A list range who manage to provide their children with normalcy and privacy every single day--not put them on display as props in their PR campaign. Rather than use their celebrity powers to get more attention their way, they simply do the opposite...they arrange their schedules and use the "perks" they are provided to keep the cameras far away, not right up in their child's face.

It's a joke to try to claim that poor Katie and Tom can't help having all the cameras around them. Get real! It's what they want, and the way they have chosen to (over)expose their child. If they valued anything like a normal life for Suri, you can bet we'd never see photos of her again.

They are absolute dolls and good to see Katie's mom and Isabella. Funny to see the double standards because other stars have their kids without sweaters including Heigl at the top right hand corner but no one is crying foul. For some that have brains do you really believe Suri is without a jacket or sweater. The kid is without one for a few minutes does not mean the world will end. Katie or the nanny carries the blanket and her sweater. Some are suckered by the usual styles of the gossip biz to get massive posts and hits.

NO parent is perfect and EVERY parent will make mistakes, some more significant than others. Our job, as parents, is to acknowledge these mistakes and try to do better, making the most intelligent decisions as possible. We won't always succeed and some things will come back to haunt us but closing a blind eye will not make things better. She's cute as heck but that doesn't make things ok. As if living in the public eye weren't damaging enough, I hope these actions don't have a profound effect on that kid but I have my doubts.

I'm just thinking of parents like Meryl Streep. I've never ever seen her husband or her children in the tabloids. How come??

I truly respect those celebrities who go to great lengths to avoid the media. They may not be able to all the time but at least they try. The media has changed, it has become more invasive, but I also think that celebrities themselves are partly responsible for that. I don't mind public appearances but private life should be private and some are pretty good at protecting that. Others have used it to keep themselves relevant.

Im not worried for Suri but Im more bothered with all of us focusing a lot on this superstars when there isnt any good reason for us to care too much. Im guilty of that. There are real neglected kids out there and real issues domestically and abroad.Suri is the least of our worries and debates. The real debate should be the future of our new health reform affecting us all even women which the Senate will start. Less use of Pap tests for cervical cancer screenign and less use of breast cancer screening for women both under and over 50. All in All we know nothing about this child's life.

You are right number 40 but laws and rules dont seem to apply to Tom,Katie and Suri and there's no rest for them.I was disgusted that people and photogs watch pics of Katie entering hotel bathrooms,their hotel windows and worstly photos of Suri and Tom's kids in their very own backyard. The public and photogs seem to have their targets and favorites. Do they have to follow families dropping off their kids to school and that kid stalked by photogs who was a guest of Clooney. Ive seen this favorite angles played by the people and photogs. I met the TMZ Boss who bought his car and they told me their top 5 family celebs always in pursuit and when I ate at the Ivy photogs were into Tobey Maguire and his kids than Ed Harris family and many instances I have seen. TMZ said if they are so desperate and slow they have photogs all the time at LAX.
