Beyonce Launches Sasha Fierce Collection
Beyonce's alter ego, Sasha Fierce, is making her way into the fashion industry with a new juniors clothing line called Sasha Fierce for Deréon. "The line really exudes a different side of my personality, which I am grateful that I can express," said Beyonce. The collection, codesigned with her mother, Tina Knowles, includes clothing, handbags, footwear, eyewear, lingerie, and jewelry — all described as over the top and inspired by Beyonce's Thierry Mugler concert costumes.
Celebrity Stylist Britt Bardo Turns Designer
This is how good celebrity stylist Britt Bardo (pictured at right) is: when she was just a stylist assistant, Jennifer Lopez asked her to stop assisting to be her personal stylist. It appears that Avon has also caught on to her talents.
After loving the work she did for Avon's Mark catalog, the company asked her to design a collection for them.
Jennifer Lopez Halts Sweetface Production
After six years, Jennifer Lopez's contemporary sportswear brand, Sweetface, has been pulled from the racks — for now. "In light of some new company strategies, we have decided to put the Sweetface line on hiatus while we prepare to reintroduce the brand in the near future with new messaging points and an entirely new fashion point of view," a spokesperson said.
Sweetface originally launched as an urban streetwear spinoff to JLO by Jennifer Lopez and quickly became a higher-end contemporary line carried at Shopbop.com, Intermix, and the like.

Jessica Simpson has just signed a deal promising a bigger and better swimwear collection. With the help of bathing suit guru, Red Carter, the duo plan to unveil a zesty line of bikinis and cover-ups ranging from $35 to $120. Not bad.
