For some expert post-Fashion Week analysis, I spoke with Black, who runs the Face section of LA's Warren-Tricomi salon and does some beauty writing of her own, about how the looks we saw on the ramps are going to translate into magazines (also known as editorial) and eventually onto the drugstore shelves. While most of the ladies on the red carpet last night at the 2009 Primetime Emmy Awards opted for pale pink or nude lipstick paired with smokey eyes, six women stood apart from the crowd wearing a daring, yet always classic pretty red colour on their pout. Gorgeous Gals and Guys Walk the Emmy Awards Red Carpet

Stars of the small screen flocked to the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles yesterday for the Primetime Emmy Awards. Our own Brits Cat Deeley and Ricky Gervais joined their American pals for the glamourous ceremony, which saw the guys stick to black suits and the women dazzle in an array of colouful dresses. Cat went for a pale floor-length number, while Gossip Girl buddies Leighton Meester and Blake Lively took opposite approaches with white and red. Heidi Klum showed off her baby bump in a tight black dress, while Drew Barrymore opted for a fairytale-style gown. Vote on all the fashion choices and beauty looks in Fab and Bella's polls.

A whole host of men wore smart suits for the ceremony, with Ricky Gervais keeping his eyes shielded on the red carpet with sunnies. Host Neil Patrick Harris, John Krasinski and Justin Timberlake all looked gorgeous in their shirts and ties. Blake Adds a Dash of Color to the Emmys Red Carpet

There were many gorgeous fashions on display last night on the red carpet at the Emmy Awards. In the first installment of our look at what the ladies wore there was a lot of black or white, but not at all basic - Amy Poehler went dark, January Jones picked a light color with a daring cutout bodice, and Chloe Sevigny had a little bit of both worlds with her polka dot number. Right now January has a slight lead in Fab's best dressed poll - who do you think deserves the title? Drew Barrymore switched things up a little with her peach gown, but it was Blake Lively who stopped traffic in her plunging Versace. 2009 Primetime Emmy Awards: Chloë Sevigny

I find Chloë Sevigny to be fairly polarizing - either you love her or you hate her. I'm in the former camp and tend to think she can do no wrong on the red carpet. Sure she's sometimes a bit over the top, but what's life without risks? Anyway, for tonight's look, her overall appearance was rather tame. She wore her hair down in a very California-not-trying-too hard way. The real statement was her bright red lip - the rest of the makeup was much more downplayed, including her heavily mascara-ed lashes. What do you think? Michelle, Kylie and Chloe Show Off Their Muse Appeal

Michelle Williams, Kylie Minogue and Chloe Sevigny are among the celebs photographed by Hedi Slimane and Craig McDean for a special issue of AnOther Magazine. They're part of a group of 28 women including Santigold, Bat For Lashes aka Natasha Khan, CSS singer Lovefoxx, Milla Jovovich and Maggie Cheung, who have been chosen as this decade's famous faces that influence and inspire with their image.

This week Kylie's shown she doesn't only influence with her style choices, as she's also launched her own bedding range called Kylie At Home. With her acting, singing, perfumes, lingerie and bedlinen, not to mention muse appeal, it's no wonder Kylie was chosen as part of this group!
