I do have a few tricks up my sleeve when it comes to holiday gifts, but I'm always impressed with what my design-savvy friends give each year. So, I decided to ask some interior design "tastemakers" for their favorite go-to presents. From designers and stylists to bloggers and shop-owners, some of the brightest stars in the design world have shared their favorite holiday gift ideas with me.
Posh and Boys Support Becks & Prep For Ramsay Christmas
Victoria Beckham was on sweet treat duty on Friday as she took the boys to Yogurtland in LA, while David spent Saturday training and attending a press conference in a warm hat. The Beckham brood then made the trip to Seattle to support David and LA Galaxy in their big MLS Cup final game on Sunday, following the team's win last weekend. Despite losing to Real Salt Lake 5-4 in penalties following the 1-1 draw, Becks remained positive about the team, saying: "It's always tough losing, but we can be proud of where we've come to".
Rihanna Wants Great Food and Great Sex For Christmas!
Following her stay in London this week, Rihanna arrived at LAX Airport yesterday in a cute and comfy outfit. She is the guest editor of MSN's music channel on Monday, and she's spoken with them about her plans for holiday season. When asked what she wants for Christmas, she replied: "some great food and some great sex"!

It's no wonder that these three Mouthblown Glass Bell Ornaments ($30-45) are drop-dead gorgeous: they were designed this year for the MoMa by none other than world-renowned industrial designer Eva Zeisel — who turned 103 years old last week! I'm absolutely in love with them. I almost feel guilty for owning drugstore variety ornaments.

The anticipation of Christmas facilitated by my mother's advent calendar was always my favorite part of the holiday season growing up. (These days, it's mulled wine.) But I've never been a fan of those store-bought advent calendars where you opened a little paper door each day. They're cute, but certainly not as fun as a calendar filled with treats or activities.
Christmas Comes Early to London With Premiere and Lights
Stars of A Christmas Carol Jim Carrey, Colin Firth and Bob Hoskins literally lit up London last night at the world premiere of the film, which they combined with turning on the capital's Christmas lights! They were joined by Jenny McCarthy in a Holiday season appropriate red coat, as well as The Saturdays and The X Factor contestants, who were more popular than the film stars! Does a Big Name Star Increase Your Interest in Panto?
Pamela Anderson stripped down to a Baywatch-style red swimsuit at Richie Rich's catwalk show in Miami Beach yesterday, but she'll be donning a different costume soon as she will be starring in panto this Christmas! She will make her pantomime debut as the Genie of the Lamp in Aladdin at London's New Wimbledon Theatre in December.
