When form meets function you have the convertible bag. These have been the celeb favorite lately. Remember Reese and her Lanvin? As well, Ashley Olsen's all about it. When worn as a satchel, the long strap hangs in a cool lackadaisical fashion; when worn as a shoulder bag, it looks travel ready. The convertible bag is even more convenient than the car, if you ask me. Here are some fab favorites.

The Luxist recently featured the Antrobus Convertible Bag, which aims to turn the usually messy, bottomless women's purse into a handy, organized heaven. I must admit, the first thing I thought was "score, individual, waterproof pockets for my gadgets!" The bag, which was created by a female design student, online for $1,250 and from the outside appears to be traditional (but noticeable) black leather purse with soft golden accents. Inside, it houses a two-drawer box, allowing the top portion to be used as a smaller shoulder bag. Going out for a drink after work? The bottom portion zips off into a folded clutch.

No word on how heavy the bag is, but I've mistakenly poured bottle water and Diet Dr. Pepper into my handbag enough times to realize the bonus of a pocket, drawer or separate compartment by any name.

Excuse me while I scoop my jaw off the floor. I didn't think I could love Foley + Corinna more than I already do, but my lust just got stronger thanks to its kickass Fall look book. Dana Foley and Anna Corinna dreamt up a collection of handbags made in rich Autumnal hues and buttery soft leather. The convertible bag remains a Fab fave, but this smart sling bag comes in a close second. Isn't it a cool, uptown take on backpacks?

Samsung's New eBook Reader Comes on the Scene

Samsung joins Sony and Amazon (and, most recently, Barnes and Noble) with its foray into the eBook reader market with the new SNE-50K, released in South Korea first and hopefully internationally sometime next year.

Previously known as "Papyrus," the SNE-50K is pretty petite: it's got a 5-inch screen and weighs 6.5 ounces (perfect for slipping into a small bag). Pricing (converted) is about $270, and hopefully it'll stay in that lower range when it comes to the US.
