Compared to some of her latest red-carpet looks, Jennifer looks a little washed out here. Don't get me wrong, I still think she looks glam in her lace shift dress, but she could have dazzled even more with some colored accessories and brighter makeup. What do you think?

Our friend Hilary here is kind of like Jen Aniston in a way: she has an affinity for wearing simple black dresses to red carpet events. Not that there's anything wrong with that, it's definitely occasion-worthy, but it is safe. She leaves me undecided. What do you all think?

I don't know if it's the green sheen of her Fab Stella McCartney frock or those killer black sandals but she is looking good at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association luncheon in Beverly Hills. I never noticed how pretty her eyes were until now. She looks money, do you agree?

Eva, Chris, and Emmy Strut Their Stuff at the HFPA Luncheon

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association held its annual installation luncheon yesterday at the Beverly Hills Hotel in LA. Eva Longoria took a break from hosting her own parties to attend, while the secretly-married-but-now-divorcing Emmy Rossum was lovely in white. Teen Choice Action Actress winner Jordana Brewster went to her second big event of the week, looking cheerful in her printed outfit. Stars like Chris Pine and Hugh Dancy were also on hand to accept grants on behalf of various organizations, as the HFPA handed out $1.2 million in charitable contributions.

Stars Support the HFPA

Aaron Eckhart took a break from all of his superhero red carpets to join other celebrities at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's annual installation luncheon at the Beverly Hills Hotel. The HFPA gave out over $750, 000 in grant money to non-profit organizations and film schools at the event yesterday. Dakota Fanning looked sweet in her short blue dress and Rosario Dawson lightened up the room with her gorgeous smile posing with Mad Men's Jon Hamm. Who knows, maybe one day the kids on the receiving end of the support will be big Hollywood stars too.

While everybody else showed up to the In Style Magazine and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Toronto International Film Festival Party in their best duds, Jessica Alba came in jeans and a t-shirt. The actress is super hip in her Rolling Stones tee and leather jacket. True, the rocker look has been killed to death in Hollywood, but Jessica looks surprisingly fresh. I think she's found her forte - edgy-cum-girly!

Johnny Depp Gives and Receives

Most of you were missing the Golden Globes as much as we were last night, and one of the biggest letdowns was that we couldn't see our favorite stars accept their trophies. It seems that Johnny Depp was also sad about missing the opportunity to make an acceptance speech, and decided to release a full statement thanking his family, friends and co-stars for his first ever Golden Globe win.

Johnny is obviously very appreciative of his first Golden Globe, but he's still giving thanks for another gift he received last year. Yesterday he donated $2 million to the Great Ormond Street Hospital, where his daughter Lily-Rose was treated during her health scare back in March. He's been a frequent visitor of the hospital, reading the patients bedtime stories and inviting doctors to his movie premieres. Could he be any more amazing? We're so happy for Johnny and his big win, and hope that maybe he'll get the chance to make a real acceptance speech come Oscar time.

It was a pretty slow week in celebrity gossip, but there was still a little excitement to be had. The most shocking for me was seeing Nicole proudly showing off that baby bump! I know, I know, I should have expected it, but hellloooo momma! Here's what else went down:

The Jolie-Pitts landed in Chicago all sleepy. Angie modeled. Zahara shopped. Brad had to go back to LA for jury duty.
Some beautiful ladies (and gents) gathered to celebrate the Hollywood Foreign Press Association giving out $1.2 Million.
Kate Hudson and Dax Shepherd made out in Canada and we all saw it. Bow chicka bow bow.
Beckham took the field! Without a shirt! Yowza!
Sigh, Britney found a new, jerky, untrustworthy boy and caused some controversy with her new perfume ad. Meanwhile, Kevin filed for more custody. Oh, Brit, will you ever learn?
Spice Girls news! Mel B is married? Check out her Larry King interview and hear all about it (and Eddie). Also Emma had a baby! Girl power!
