Jeanne Tripplehorn to Play Jackie Kennedy Onassis
Wow, I probably never would have thought of this, but now that she's been cast it makes sense: Jeanne Tripplehorn, known mostly for her role on Big Love, will play Jackie O in HBO Films' production Grey Gardens.
Based on a 1975 documentary, the story follows Big Edie and Little Edie (played by Jessica Lange and Drew Barrymore, respectively), the "aunt and cousin of Onassis who made headlines when the health department threatened to raid their flea- and raccoon-infested 28-room East Hampton, N.Y., mansion."
I am always drawn in by Tripplehorn's performances on Big Love and I'm curious to see what she does with this role.

The Australian media is taking an irresponsible and extremely unsettling "joke" about rape seriously. The country's highest-rated morning show — "The Kyle and Jackie O Show" — has been canceled for now, after it had a 14-year-old girl submit to an on-air lie detector test during which she admitted to being raped. The host, Kyle Sandilands, has also been fired from his job as a judge on Australian Idol.

Simon Cowell turns 50 on Wednesday, so he gathered his A-list pals at Wrotham Park mansion on Saturday for a lavish party. His fellow X Factor judges Cheryl Cole, Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh plus presenters Holly Willoughby and Dermot O'Leary joined the celebrations, with Dannii and Louis both buying him a mirror. Simon's Britain's Got Talent colleagues Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan were also spotted leaving the party.
