"You live it. You love it. But then there are those days that you remember, 'it's only fashion.'" I couldn't have said it better myself.

Petro Zillia's Spring 2008 line sheet explaining all the runway looks also included a fun little bit about life in LA; the list was deemed "10 Ways you Know You're SO LA." It kept me entertained before the show began and made me realize that I'm so not LA (out of 30 possibilities, I only semi-identified with a few). We thought it would be fun to share so you can figure out if you're SO LA.

Paris Hilton enjoyed her VIP perch at the Petro Zillia Spring 2008 show finishing off LA Fashion Week on Thursday. She certainly looks happy to be there for her old friend Petro as he showed off his newest line. Fab's got all the hot runway looks from the show for you to see, but even more exciting, they've been racking up the Celebrity Sightings while in LA for Fashion Week.

Designer Petro Zillia paired her fun, flirty, and free-flowing dresses with a variation on the updo at LA Fashion Week. She pulled the model's hair back into a traditional ponytail then added some serious volume in the back with a curly 'fro. The designer counts Paris Hilton as a client, but somehow I can't envision Miss Hilton sporting this style.

Paris Hilton is an avid Petro Zillia fan — in fact, upon her exit from jail, she wore the brand's olive blazer. Judging from this collection of flirty and fun dresses, it's clear the feeling is mutual for Petro Zillia designer Nony Tochterman; I can for sure see the star sporting these frocks.
Color and silky fabrics were omnipresent.

Monarchy attempted the menswear theme that many designers have been dabbling with recently. Only, their route was more boyish than manly. This particular look reminds me a lot of Hansel from the German fairytale.

Things have always been a little kookier at LA Fashion Week, but the makeup at the Heatherette show this season had more of a Halloween edge than a pretty or polished fashion feel. What do you think of this face paint look on model Lydia Hearst?

Quick: what's the first thing that comes to mind when you think of black tights? Cold weather, Fall or Winter, I bet. The last thing I would associate black tights with is sunny LA.

Jeremy Scott is never one to shy away from bold and racy designs and his Spring 2008 collection was no exception. Though there was no ass-slapping between models like there has been in his past shows, there was lots of drama. Namely, all the female models walked out with large garbage can hats.

Given the warm LA climate, it's not surprising TART stuck to what they do best: easy, breezy, micro-modal dresses. There were oodles of flowy dresses, long and short. Prints, like exploding dots and feathers, were introduced and much appreciated.
