I know, these leggings are kinda crazy, but ridiculously fun, too. Peep Whitney Port for stimulation. During a visit in LA, The City star donned a pair of black and gold leaf-print leggings with a casual sweatshirt and flats for an ultracomfortable, ultrafashionable look. Tip: Always keep your top and accessories to a minimum when going exotic. Let the legs do all the talking.

Trend Alert: Velvet Leggings

For me, Autumn/Winter is all about luxurious fabrics. They're usually thicker, great for keeping warm and instantly make your outfit look more expensive! This season designers have been mixing up the various textures including leather, velvet and suede.

Leggings are still very much a wardrobe staple and have taken on the new season fabrics. I have noticed a lot of velvet styles on offer and couldn't resist sharing them with you. The great news is that you don't have to spend a lot to indulge in this trend. There are plenty of pairs on the High Street including Topshop (£22), New Look (£14) and Dorothy Perkins (£18). Will you be wearing velvet leggings this season?

Are Skinny Jeans Bad For Body Image?

When I head to work I'm all about comfort, so the fashion police would probably give me a ticket for my lack of trendiness. But when the weekend rolls around, I definitely like to dress up if I'm going out, especially because my girls love it when I put on heels and lipstick.

Skinny jeans and leggings are some of the biggest trends I see when I'm out, and being the health-minded person that I am, I'm wondering how you ladies feel about this fad (which doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon). Are these skin-tight pants encouraging women to feel bad about their figures, or do you think they're a great tool to motivate women to meet their fitness goals?

The votes are in and Lindsay Lohan has chosen the 6126/FabSugar Leggings Contest winner. Out of over 200 entries, Lindsay narrowed it down to one dreamy sketch. Congratulations to Cali girl Candice Aman! In addition to receiving $1,000, her design will be added to Lindsay's Spring 6126 collection. When asked about her design inspiration, Candice said, "I was inspired by a type of tracksuit bottoms that I had when I was younger. They unbutton all the way up along the sides and I thought that a leggings design utilizing this idea would be interesting. I also wanted to incorporate hardware in the design so I made buttons! Leggings continue to be everywhere this season in bright colours or adorned with studs! Studded leggings are sure to see you through to Spring where the grunge trend seems likely to continue.

This is an item you can have fun with and either dress up with a hot party dress or dress down with an oversized knit. Some of the style are quite subtle, like Marks and Spencer's border studded pair (£18) where as others make more of a statement like Oasis' decorated version (£45). We brought you 10 crazy funky jeans, so it's only fair that we give leggings the same treatment. This one's for all you bold girls. It takes a certain personality to pull off gutsy leggings, but if you're the daring type, revel in the endless supply of sequin, lace, tie-dye, and stud-embellished offerings. I was appalled by some of these at first glance, but then again, I can see such radical styles - like this Diane von Furstenberg Animal Print Legging ($115) - tempered with tailored coats and simple tees.
