A popular nightclub in Australia has decided to ban "metrosexuals" in an attempt to curb violence. Apparently a certain style of dress is enough to start a bar fight.

On the list of forbidden clothing items you will find low-cut v-neck t-shirts, skinny jeans, pointy white shoes, popped collars, and Ed Hardy tops. I think many of us would be happy to go to a bar with this type of restrictive dress code.

When trying out fashion trends, men can come off as trying a little too hard. The power jeans trend - the tendency to pair expensive-looking jeans with a blazer for an "I'm hip!" vibe - is another example. Which male fashion fad would you like to ban?

Megan took home the Choice Summer Movie Star surfboard last weekend at the Teen Choice Awards, and will be able to please her fans again when her movie hits theaters on Sept. 18.

Blake Adds a Dash of Color to the Emmys Red Carpet

There were many gorgeous fashions on display last night on the red carpet at the Emmy Awards. In the first installment of our look at what the ladies wore there was a lot of black or white, but not at all basic - Amy Poehler went dark, January Jones picked a light color with a daring cutout bodice, and Chloe Sevigny had a little bit of both worlds with her polka dot number. Right now January has a slight lead in Fab's best dressed poll - who do you think deserves the title? It's All Sparkle and Shine For the Ladies at the 2009 MTV VMAs

Whether they went short or long, the gorgeous girls on the red carpet at last night's VMAs sparkled in metallic hues. Taylor Swift led the glamorous parade in her floor-length gown, while Leighton Meester and Kristin Cavallari looked hot in their silvery dresses - both of them are doing well in Fab's best dressed poll, but who do you think deserves the title? Jennifer Lopez's featured an intricate neck, and the first of Ashley Greene's two looks of the evening had a gold skirt.

Stephanie Pratt stuck with the theme in her rhinestone-encrusted dress, while unintentional twins Pink and Shakira's dresses had a little gold embroidering. A few ladies paved their own ways style-wise - big winner of the evening Beyonce picked a bright red mini, Whitney Port stepped out in a black and white Christopher Kane, and Lauren Conrad picked a similarly simple short frock. 2010 Spring New York Fashion Week: Alexander Wang

Go Team Wang. For Spring, the designer shifted direction, lightened the mood, used less black, experimented with texture and layers, introduced funky sunglasses. All good choices, in my humble opinion. Always veering on the sporty, shoulder-accentuated heather gray sweatshirts evoked images of football players. Leather shorts and crop tops were fit for the boxing ring. Cool khakis and shredded red stripes emit a dangerous rugby vibe. There were still plenty of little black and white party dresses, but this time made of sheer inserts and cut outs - and more spacious, less spandex. Knits were a pleasant surprise; I wish there were more of them.

Everything seemed sliced and diced, reminiscent of Japanese designs, reminding me of Commes de Garcons. Check out the shoes: leopard mules, sexy black lace-ups, frisky oxfords. Wang cited, "Exploring the deviant side of American teen culture" as his inspiration. If that meant promiscuous teens making out under the bleachers at the homecoming game, I get it.

Love It or Hate It? Beth Ditto at Fendi Party

As expected The Gossip performed at the Fendi party last night as Paris Fashion Week continues. Beth arrived in a LWD before taking to the stage in a sequined black number. She has been a front row staple this season and it's great to see her having so much fun, however I can't help but feel she is an usual choice for Karl Lagerfeld who apparently muttered "fat-phobic" comments at the Chanel show earlier in the week.

I really like this cute white dress which Beth teamed with flat peep-toe pumps. Sometimes I feel that she is too controversial in her clothing choices, but this isn't one of those times. What do you think of Beth's party look?
