The fashion industry is aflutter about the future nuptials of its sweetheart designer Marc Jacobs. The latest is that the wedding will take place in Provincetown, MA, where Robert Duffy — Jacobs's business partner — has a vacation home. But we have to wait until August for wedding photos because of Marc's demanding work schedule.

One thing is for sure: Madonna and Marc Jacobs can't get enough of those bunny ears. Louis Vuitton's Fall '09 campaign, shot by Steven Meisel in NYC, captures (an overly) Photoshopped image of the the pop star wearing an outfit similar to the one she proudly paraded to the Met Gala complete with '80s-inspired mesh fingerless gloves and an oversized LV monogrammed bag. Madonna's mannequin-like pose and blemish-free face are too unrealistic for my taste but might appeal to some Material Girl aficionados.

With Cruise '10 in full effect, let's stop and evaluate the latest. Frocks and skirts dominated, but what really caught my eye were clean, lean trousers — quite the opposite of crazy harem pants. Instead, trousers ranged from cropped and loose-fitting to tight and body-con.

Let me first define what a "pouchette" is: a pocket handbag or wallet. You may have guessed the term is French and therefore we shouldn't be surprised some of the greatest French fashion houses are producing some modern, punky pouchettes. These little confections are small, but oh so mighty.

If you've ever wondered what models look like after partying the night away, peep at Marc Jacobs's Fall '09 campaign. The ad, shot by Juergen Teller, features Natasa Vojnovic, Ajuma Nasanyana, Kamila Filipcikova, and Olga Sherer looking glamorously tipsy wearing Marc's colorful '80s-inspired frocks. To add more emphasis to the throwback theme, the models are styled with opaque tights, teased hair, and makeup reminiscent of Madonna's heyday.

Bright colors were all the rage at last night's CFDA Awards in NYC. Blake Lively and Ashley Olsen could not have looked more different in their pink and orange respectively, but both ladies embraced a love of color. Diane Kruger also stood out in red and black even without her best accessory Josh Jackson on her arm.

I can see why Joane Laygo is jumping for joy. Her nautical striped dress is filled with vibrant energy — can you feel it? I also like how she accessorized with a hip fedora and flat sandals for a casual, fresh vibe.

I never tire of Kate Bosworth's utterly effortless fashion sense. Styling her glimmering gold bag with a simple graffiti rock tee and black skirt is genius. See, it's all about mixing the fancy with the funky, and that's how you do it with gold bags.

I love bows, I love gladiator sandals, but do I love them together? I'm not so sure. This Marc Jacobs Bow Glitter Sandal ($535, originally 897) is certainly cute to look at, but is it too cutesy to wear?
